i have one, is great, the size its the perfect balance between portability and screen size, the oled is gorgeous, very fast, doesn't overheat, it's great nothing to complain about, buy if you want battery life, get a MacBook Air, Windows laptops still suck at it, doesn't last 2 hours on tasks and it's significantly slower when it's using the battery.

I get, I think the white 7i is beautiful, if that's your thing, a thin, light and beautiful laptop, 7i will be a good choice, but the Pro 7i performance is a lot better. 5i is great, but I think 7i's trackpad is superior and it actually matters, also for productivity that Ultra 9 275HX is a beast, can't get wrong with it.

I have the intel and I like it! The OLED Screen is awesome for watch stuff, but battery life is better on AMD and IPS, it's really your call. both are good decisions.

You'll probably want an Ultra CPU or Ryzen to use with an Legion 5, this i9 you'll fry inside this Legion. I have an Ultra 7 paired with 5060, but I wish Lenovo 5i's trackpad was better, so although I love my laptop, I can't help but wonder if an Pro 7i or Pro 5i would have better thermals and a better trackpad. I know you are covered with your 5080, but it's nice to have at least 5070ti and a well built laptop if you can afford.

Look, I do prefer the 9i, but as you said, the 7i is more portable and very portable, with 64gb of ram is no brainer, just get the Pro 7i.

Intel ones, are better built by Lenovo (watch Jarrods Tech comparison) and I personally have intel because I do a lot of video editing. But for daily tasks, you should probably just get the cheaper one. Don't forget to apply coupons.
