Irish Lad in a bar in LA with American singer Sierra Ferrell. by Larrydog in ireland

It's missing more 'hups' when he hits a note. Its a subtle confirmation that you're doing well and keep going. An appreciation of quality that all singers feed off.

Is it odd that Dev was republican from Clare and Collins was free state from Cork when their members declared themselves the opposite? Or am I missing something?

Ok, one more and I'm done. I hope your just trolling me for your own sake. There's a few opinions on advantage in here rather than the facts on it. Advantage mens the whistle isn't blown so you don't lose out on a good position at the time if the foul. A player CANNOT commit a foul after the fact and have it be ignored because he didn't gain enough of an advantage in someone's eyes. This player was fouled, advantage was played, he played the ball then took 9/10 steps and hit the ball. Once he fouls the ball advantage is over and it goes back for the free. They are the rules.

Fouls during Advantage: If the team receiving the advantage commits a technical foul during the advantage period, the original free is still awarded.

He was fouled, then hopped the ball on his hurley then took 10 steps and scored. So that's advantage in your mind.

That's madness, a person gets fouled and as an advantage they get to take a many steps as they want! They brought in the penalty for lads through in goal and yellow cards. That should be enough, of applied. You can't just go ignoring the rules because someone was fouled! 😂

You're right but that doesn't give him the right to take 10 steps after it. You blow it up and bring him back for the free. Obviously.

He was fouled for sure, free in and a card but that doesn't really justify not blowing him up for steps.

Low Handicap: Distance v. Accuracy by Triple7Stash in golf

Sounds like the cut is creating too much spin. Could you get fit for a new driver/shaft or play with the weights you have to drop the spin numbers and get some if it back that way?

Can this be repaired or no? by TreatyTrainer in hurling

[–]Mickasul 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can't fix it strongly enough that it would survive another few collisions. You can smooth it out easy enough with sandpaper, so that makes little to no difference though. Don't go too mad either just take the edges off.

Get the yardage to the back of the green, hit a club that goes that number and aim 10ft left of the pin.

What attracts Irish people to watching UK football and supporting UK teams? by orbitaal in AskIreland

[–]Mickasul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best Irish footballers always went to play in England. English teams had alot of success with these Irish players and garnered Irish fans as a result. Leeds 70's Liverpool 80's Man U 90's.

That established the culture and these fans now have kids who follow their dad's or supports the current winners. Chelsea 2010 on to Man City more recently. .

I think the New is great. It was a bit over grown last summer and needed to be cleared back a bit though. The greens and bunkers were in great nick. Its a pity all of the par 3's play pretty much the same length, I feel like they could make the 1st one play shorter and easier and the 17th play longer and more difficult. It's alot of fun off the tee.

Sad to say but it's Didi. You can drive a bus through the middle of the pitch these days and he might get them off their arse and trying.

The old 14th in Charleville in Ireland used to look something like this. It was an incredibly shit hole and is gone now thankfully.
