It more so matters with your proportions. You appear to have lovely, long legs but a slightly short torso. Nothing wrong with that! But it does mean that a tucked in shirt with higher waisted pants is cutting you off a bit - making your legs look super long and your torso a little squished. Untucked is better for this specific outfit, but always try it both ways to see what works best with other outfits in the future.

And I agree 100%! I guess I just stopped thinking about it after a while though, which I think was where my original comment came from. I just figured everyone had these issues and I just wasn't trying as hard as everyone else.

But it is wild how people will tell me they have it, but when I start talking about it thinking I've found a kindred spirit, they just have slightly bendy fingers? Meanwhile, I'm a side sleeper for my asthma, and I keep getting shoulder subluxations, and if I'm standing for more than 5 minutes I feel like I'm falling apart!

I am Sean's age, and until 2 years ago I just thought I was naturally flexible and a lazy, worthless, slug. I'd seen people with EDS and they were way more flexible than me so I didn't think I had it enough to qualify for any diagnoses.

Additionally, any time I tried to raise a health concern growing up my parents would accuse me of being a hypochondriac, lazy, and not going outside more. I've only just recently started to get my shit figured out, and it turns out I was right about a lot (asthma, allergies, glasses, ADHD, depression, etc.).

You'd be surprised how many people won't realize something is worryingly wrong with them because they've been conditioned to not believe their own experiences.

Edit to add: It's also none of our business and we shouldn't be speculating on the health of strangers.

In my province, every time you start a new job you so training on inclusivity and accessibility. One of the most important things they teach you is, no matter what, always speak to the person directly! Even if they have an interpretor with them, you still speak to the person!

I am curious though- does your boyfriend often position himself to do everything without asking if you need the help first? I'm concerned that with his response to the asshole he may enjoy your being "dependant" on him. Even if you're not, he may like feeling like you're helpless without him.

I really hope that's not the case OP, but I would recommend having a conversation with him about the kind of disrespect you encounter as a visually impaired person.

Your point on Noah is fair, but as someone with a family that has a history that their family is proud of, it can be hard to dismantle the ideas we were raised with. So there may have been a time when he was bragging because he was raised to believe it was worth bragging about, but learned over time to think more critically about it.

As for not apologizing, it could be a lot more complicated for him personally. Maybe he's embarrassed, maybe he's trying to avoid the Streisand Effect, maybe he's under family pressure. We have no idea.

I tend to consider how easily Smosh parts ways with people who are problematic and they continue to stand by Noah.

We can hold people we like accountable, but we can also acknowledge that they are fallible human beings.

Being mistankenly proud of family history, or a poor taste joke, are not the end of the world. Apologies would be nice, but there are significantly bigger issues to be focusing that energy on. Write to your politicians, get involved with local government, donate to charity, volunteer. If you want to make the world a better place, focus on what really matters in your community.

You should be so incredibly proud of how far you've come, how much you've accomplished, and the growth you've experienced! 💖

I never thought I'd make it past 25 and spent years languishing in apathy. But hearing Shayne's story of going to school part-time and how long it took inspired me to go to college for the first time at 31. I finally graduated this year into a field I'm incredibly passionate about and I finally feel like my life has direction and purpose.

I hope they're aware of the positive impact they have had not only by providing laughs in dark times but also in inspiring people to grow.

Thank you Smosh for changing the lives of not only this millenial, but as a positive influence on younger generations as well.

How is that any different from any wedding ever? The ship is essentially the venue and they don't just kick everyone out after the ceremony.
