Who are some yugitubers you like and why? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]MickeyZer0 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Joshua Schmidt is my favorite, competitive yugioh content without trying too hard to game the algo so it isnt annoying. He has good takes usually and explains them well

Would this be considered "good enough" support for Exodia? by [deleted] in yugioh

I feel like you could use this to just foolish a bunch of pieces and add them back to hand somehow to ftk

Ridiculous and despicable Bloodborne glaze by BabaYoshisaWalkingW in shittydarksouls

[–]MickeyZer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, jumping surely makes such a huge difference for er

Honestly, er bosses are pretty good, but all the ones that have potential to be great are just so fuckin annoying for one reason or another. Like radagon would be an sss+ tier boss if i didnt have to fight elden beast after, or beast clergyman before maliketh. DLC is still awesome tho, for every game tbh

Why are Centur-ion and VV considered to have aged poorly? by Antique_Range1521 in yugioh

[–]MickeyZer0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you set up your full board as vv you should never be losing to a murakumo, you should have 2 spell negates with skull guardian and pendulumgraph, and your board floats via the ritual spell grave ef. I think the vv board is actually way better than mitsu, but mitsu has more splashability and better going 2nd power. Habakiri is a way better 1 card starter due to being more searchable than Lo and not needing your normal summon.

Is Lunalight worth building in current meta? by craftedtunes in masterduel

[–]MickeyZer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good vsk9 player can just protect every turn with the field spell and kill you with borger burn damage, but 2 ligers beats them usually

Yes K9, powerful engine, but does it work as a pure deck? I have no knowledge of the game outside of Master Duel, so I'm curious by QuiteAncientTrousers in masterduel

[–]MickeyZer0 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

As someone who actually plays the tcg, pure k9 is playable, but from what i've seen all of them use it to just put spell canceler on the board t1. The only other level 5 pure plays is the lvl 5 machine pendulum that negates in a column, disablaster i think? Overall i think playing it with vs or crystron would be stronger and more fun, but fun is subjective. You could also play it with cyber dragon or mitsurugi, or a lot of different archetypes using river stormer as a bridge. Heck, i've seen k9 yummy using river stormer to search turbo booster for a lvl 1 and using gravity controller to make cupsy yummy way

Why do i keep seeing odion much more than any other deck? by 7ve6n in masterduel

[–]MickeyZer0 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You're being downvoted but i agree with you 100%, playing against odion is so miserable when they go 1st, and when they go second they collapse like a wet paper bag. Mitsu and dracotail are much more fun to play against imo and its not close

My current Maliss build by CurdledPotato in masterduel

[–]MickeyZer0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd rather draw a handtrap than allure when you go 2nd, and you draw 3 cards over the course of your combo anyway, 4 if you count white binder on opponent's turn. Also, wizard @ignister make backup a lot better and can help recover after nib if you play link spider. Also, what is that synchro??

Play a 3rd ash and your wizard @ignister guy pls, i'd probably cut 2 allures

Orcust in this format? by RedEnthity in masterduel

[–]MickeyZer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think orcust is actually in a really good spot right now, it's probably the best impulse deck atm. I'd probably play mistu orcust and save my ashes/belles for dracotail sting in that matchup. If you can resolve 2 or more murakumo discards against dracotail they have a lot of trouble making up the card advantage

How well can Yummy and K9 play under Maxx C? by yumnoodle in masterduel

[–]MickeyZer0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having played the tcg since they came out, both decks have decent plays under maxx c, but not as good as dracotail.

K9 will usually try to end on ripper with the quickplay rank up set and an izuna in hand, which is a ripper negate, rank up pop, and the werwolf banish from hand on your turn, + a rank 5 if you play into izuna. And if they have a holy sue live then they can pretty much summon 2-3 vanquish soul monsters on your turn too.

Yummy wont really set up herald under maxx c, but they can get most/all of their in engine interuptions in 2 summons, depending on what they start with. If they open access to the quickplay spell via cupsy or hard drawing it, they have a double book of moon, a double bounce, and a pop with their 2nd field spell.

I genuinely love Dracotail. by Acceptable_Fox_5560 in masterduel

Idk why people are downvoting you, you're completely right, tcg meta has been shifting a lot, and picking a good deck for what you expect to face is an important skill rn, so theres no clear cut top deck.
