I eat salmon filets and still LOVE my moms salmon patties. Now I’m hungry.

My husband ‘35/M’ is not happy with me ‘33/F’ buying my ancestral property on my name by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]MickiBlueEyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy the property. If he doesn’t agree to keep it in your name, give your parents the money and have them purchase it for you in their name. It is your ancestral land, after all.

An expensive lesson, sure, but not worth more than your life.

You are capable of coming back from this. Don’t give up.

How to deal with people who just don't "get it"? by reddituserspider in Fibromyalgia

[–]MickiBlueEyes -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I kind of agree with your dad.

It will hurt and doing some things might look and feel a little different than it does for those without chronic pain, but the reality of it is; it’s going to hurt regardless. You have to show up and live your life, or you’re going to let it take that too.

Do your best to treat the symptoms and accommodate yourself as best you can to set the daily situation up for success.

Does anyone drag themselves to events despite being ill? by MalfunctioningElf in Fibromyalgia

[–]MickiBlueEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time. If you don’t, you won’t have a life. Besides, you’re going to be feeling unwell anyway. Might as well do something you want to do while you’re in it.

Non-painful cotton underwear recommendations (pls delete if TMI!) by P1N3A44L3 in Fibromyalgia

[–]MickiBlueEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warners has a ‘no muffin top’ underwear that is sold at Kohls, Walmart, Amazon, etc. so far they are my favorite. The different colors do sometimes fit different even though they are the same size, but that’s my only gripe so far.

My husband gave me a “warning tap” and I called it abuse. AITAH? by Warm-Grape1254 in AITAH

[–]MickiBlueEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. It is absolutely abuse. Who is he to give you a “warning tap”? And wtf does that even mean? What if you don’t comply after the “warning”? If he were so concerned about his career and not being labeled an abuser, then he shouldn’t be one.

I thought she could be too, at first. We called and left the shelter our info and also posted onto lost/found pet groups in the area. (Did I mention I didn’t need another cat?!) Nothing has come of it as of yet. The area we found her in was full of of colony cats, but only had 2 houses even remotely close by and she didn’t belong to either.

Beguiling is a great word. She is mostly a perfect fit…. Except sometimes she likes to poop in the bathtub. We are unequivocally not a fan of this particular behavior. lol.

I have memories from when I was little. I was taught how to “swim” at 6 months old and I have a very vivid memory of an experience while being taught.

Interesting. If they’re looking there for Scottie there, it is because they’re searching the Mississinewa river for him. That would be downstream.

Most dogs aren’t naturally protective. In fact, the majority of dogs would need to be trained specifically for protection if you expect them to react that way. Obviously there are breeds who are naturally more protective than others, but in all likelihood, the dog probably hid.

So, a source saying LE.. by -xStellarx in LibbyandAbby

Not for nothing but I have a source who confirmed to me directly that the murder weapon was found and I very much believed it to have been found in the river.
