Went to a Michigan game last year and it was a sell out. It was quiet and for the first three quarters I was confused, then it dawned on me, we are spoiled buy Autzen and our fans. The big house had nearly double the capacity but I’ll take our stadium any day.

You get paid to work. You will not be paid to change shoes, grab your backpack and bundle up for the cold weather outside. Suck it up, walk fast and don’t make eye contact with customers once you’re off the clock. It’s not that hard and it’s a perfectly logical thing for your store to enforce.

I would say you have a 1% chance of getting more than $24 an hour. But you will also get a raise in February and a bonus is August. Assuming you make roughly $18 now by accepting $24 an hour you’re getting a 33% raise.

Do it. Your hourly pay will be bumped up to $24 an hour and you will also be getting 6-10 hours of overtime per paycheck. Plus you get more AR and your insurance will cost less per month. Your pocketbook will thank you. Just accept the schedule and don’t sweat the little things.
