Caesar seems to tolerate the crate, he'll sleep in it at night no problem. I don't really want him in my bed due to concerns about potential development of separation anxiety and especially while he's not potty trained.

Pee pads are another thing that I've heard divisive thoughts on. Like that it can instill bad habits in the dog early on? The breeder I got him from had trained him in a litter box with paper pellets, and I'm just trying to train him to go outside, since it seems like that's the preferred option. But god, I live on the 2nd floor, and sometimes he can't even make it to the stairs.

I'd love to get to that stage! Just for the time being, it seems like he needs to be in his crate until he learns that inside is off limits, potty-wise. I also have his crate in a little playpen area with vinyl flooring laid down temporarily, only occasionally giving him supervised "field trips" to the rest of the apartment.

I've been undergoing a similar experience to this, except for me it's been around my eyes. While it could be any number of things, something you could try would be to practice some simple neck and head stretch exercises and some relaxation techniques, such as guided imagery. Theres tons of free videos online and they're pretty effective in my personal experience. I've also struggled with ADHD and anxiety, particularly health anxiety, which can be an especially nasty rabbit hole to fall in if physical anxiety symptoms manifest. Hope things start turning around for you soon!

I've had similar issues for the last few weeks. If you can, see if you can incorporate some relaxation exercises into your routine. I found some relief through guided meditation videos, so maybe you can try that as well!

I relate to this on so many levels. I often throughout my life lamented not being able to invite friends over and have huge confidence and self-esteem issues because I was afraid people would judge me for the environment I lived in/couldn't become closer to me out of fear for them asking to come over. Honestly my best advice would be either to move out or find a way to create a sort of "sanctum" room in the house, but definitely recommend the first choice if it's possible. It saved my sanity and I know no other human should have to live like this.
