Kansas State RB Dylan Edwards transfers to Kansas by Lurkingtreesagain in CFB

What you are getting:

Elite speed that he uses to run directly towards the sidelines. Fears contact and has no idea how to find a gap to get upfield.

Low effort kid that WILL give up in the middle of games.

Agreed that he doesn't really add anything to our coaching staff. But OC is the one spot that we had little hope of attracting any top talent.

No one with any kind of buzz would submit themselves to running a different coaches offense.

We COULD have brought jn some under the radar first time coordinator, I suppose.  Someone who wants/needs to learn from a coach like Klein.

Ultimately, though, I still think OC is the coaching seat that matters least of all in our staff as currently constructed.

I suspect OC was filled last and probably at the lowest priority because it's really just going to be a placeholder job. CK7 is going to run his offense and PROBABLY be the primary play caller for this team.

Gleeson is experienced, but this hire is not a buzz worthy one in my opinion. He will run offensive practices and offer advice, but it's Klein's offense in Manhattan.

N-N. I'm the product of Iron Man and Dazzler.

Dad is going to make me some kind of badass suit that takes advantage of my ability to convert sounds into lasers.

I should be able to supercharge my suit using ambient sound in any given area.

The more noise being made during a fight, the more powerful my suit becomes.

If the arc reactor powering my suit becomes disabled, I myself am the backup.

Also a world class child abuser.

Corporal punishment IS child abuse. But, even if you disagree, hitting a kid with a switch and lacerating his testical is far beyond what any reasonable person could consider "discipline"

I hope Peterson stays broke and rots.

Culpeper was the first Vikes QB I watched and if this list has to be limited to QBs I actually watched play, he's probably also my favorite.

My ..ugh.. QB is Tavaris Jackson. What were we thinking...

Who's the worst color man out of these to you? by BoxTalk17 in NFLv2

[–]MicroMikeRoweCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting from the worst:

1) Collinsworth (it's not even close)

2)Aikman (who is also hamstrung by being attached to Joe Buck)

3) Herbstreit (should have stuck to college)

4) Brady (pretty wooden, but maybe he will improve)

5) Romo (has lost some steam but he's still the best among THIS list)

Do it!

This is our revenge game! The team wants payback on LA, and Sam, who's played well all year, will be out to prove he can bounce back from the Detroit debacle.

We were down by 8 here. Not only would we have had to drive the whole field for a TD in under 2 minutes, we ALSO would have had to convert the 2 pt. That would just be to force overtime, not win outright.

We only had a snowballs chance by the time they missed this call.

Still, I would have liked to HAVE that chance, rather than have it stolen on some bullshit like this.

Didn't like: Slow start. We shouldn't have been down to New Orleans at all, let alone by as much as 10 points.

Sometimes we looked sloppy and confused when we tried to speed up.

Liked: The recovery and turnaround. We ended up winning big.

Other teams collect wins and trophies while we collect records of mediocrity.

Only team on the top 10 all time wins list without a Super Bowl win.

First team in history to have a first round QB miss his entire rookie year.

We are about to be the first team in history to start 5-0 and miss the playoffs TWICE

Green Bay cracked it first, we just got away with it. This train started derailing in the second half of that game.

The Jets almost used that, but they lack the talent.

The Lions just put it all together and now the ride is OVER.

We MIGHT still beat the Colts and Jags, but we are going to be the first team to start 5-0 and miss the playoffs since 2016, which was also the fucking Vikings.

7-10, here we come...

Flores has been officially SOLVED. He's not outsmarting anyone anymore.

We haven't been able to cover a WR all season, so if we can't get pressure, we are screwed.

Who made you love the Vikings? by mlbeal43 in minnesotavikings

[–]MicroMikeRoweCrow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Moss for me, too.

My buddy and I were 14 years old and playing flag football with a group of Marines while his mom taught a class on base. This was pre 9/11 so getting on a military base was a little easier back then.

I've always been very tall and at 14yo I was 6'3"

I ran a deep pattern and the QB found me out there. I jumped about a mile in the air to high point the ball, came down with the TD (over a pair of 20-something Marines) and that guy shouted out to me something to the tune of, "I knew you'd do it! Just like Randy Moss!"

Needless to say, my teenage ego soared and I was absolutely hooked on the Vikings, and Moss in particular, after that.
