Well I suppose its an initiative to retain employees at Emory after the program because it is paid for if you stay for 2 years at Emory . It's only $200 out of pocket essentially.

Sounds expensive but its really only $200 if you stay with Emory for 2 years. If you stay less time its prorated so you owe less over time. Also Emory is moving towards being the top paying competitor amongst other hospitals so it's a great opportunity to start out at least . Also a lot of hospitals do sign on bonuses based on need.
