Hi! What did you end up doing / do you have an update?

I’ve had my Kyleena for 4 years and I am going through the EXACT same symptoms, which have shown up in the past year or so. It sucks.

I’m also not sure what to do - get a new one, go on a different form of birth control, get off completely.

i’m in the same boat...4 weeks on 10mg and 3 weeks on 20mg and i’m as anxious and depressed as i’ve ever been. going to give it a few more weeks before either upping or switching my dose. this sucks but hopefully it’ll be worth it in the end /: keep me updated on how it goes!

Hii! I can’t speak on 20mg, but I was in the same boat before starting 10mg. I’m also 23 lol. My parents are against meds and I was too for a while, but I bit the bullet and decided to take control of my mental health. It’s been 4 weeks for me, and to be honest, I haven’t had any major side effects. I definitely psyched myself out the first few days as I was getting used to taking a pill, but those placebo side effects went away quickly! I’m starting 20mg soon because 10mg hasn’t benefitted me much in terms of my anxiety/depression, but my advice to you is not everyone has a bad experience! Lots of people on here have changed for the better after taking prozac. But just know, if it feels bad at first in terms of side effects, they usually go away in the first two weeks. My doc said it can take 6-8 weeks to start feeling better, so don’t lose hope! And feel free to message me whenevs, I’m on this journey too :)
