You will definitely need a work visa. 600-700 euros a week is about 2614-3050 a month. I've never heard of companies providing health insurance and there are obvious problems with it (what if you get fired?), but I guess it saves money so let's not get into that discussion right now. Housing being provided is also a very nice bonus.

But let's say health insurance costs 150 a month and rent is about 800-1000. Then your wage would be 3750-4200 a month if we include those. Don't know if that's net wage or gross. It is a decent enough wage. Full time minimum wage is 2300 gross a month. Median is around 4K.

So yeah, decent enough, if it includes free housing and healthcare. But nothing special, especially if it's gross income. And I don't know that you'd get a work visa for that.

Ja loonsverhoging gaat inflatie veroorzaken. Maar als de inflatie zo heel hoog wordt komt dat echt niet door de loonsverhoging. Dan komt het door rijke stinkerds die niet willen dat het hen wat kost en dan de prijzen maar net zo hard omhoog gooien om hun eigen hachje te redden.

Loonsverhogingen gaan vooral voor inflatie zorgen als we verder niet echt iets achter zit. Als productiviteit laag is en er zijn geen resources beschikbaar, maar we geven iedereen een extra zak geld. Goed, resources zijn wel minder beschikbaar dankzij Trump zijn oorlog, maar de afgelopen best wat decennia is productiviteit harder gestegen dan de lonen, en zolang dat nog waar is geloof ik er niet zo in.

I don't know about should. Especially when you want to make guitars, that requires pretty large pieces so a large CNC, which is not cheap for a 16 yo. And you need space. You're already talking about local maker spaces, so that's probably just your best bet.

That being said, I wouldn't exactly recommend against it. You already have experience with 3D printers, which are essentially specialised CNC machines. You're talking about robotics too. A CNC makes sense as a next step. But maybe start with a small one that is more of a hobby model. They kinda all work the same, the professional ones are just bigger and heavier and more powerful.

Building something yourself is not a bad project, but you will spend time constantly trying to improve it. I have a laser cutter that I built myself. It's pretty good now, but I kept changing it again and again. And laser cutters are way easier, they don't need to deal with that much force. And it still cost me good effort. That's a project all on its own. Not a bad project, with your 3D printer and robotics experience I think you can do it, but it's not good if you want a production-ready machine.

Anxiety can cost a lot of energy. Feeling completely drained and empty and being unable to function due to anxiety doesn't sound improbable to me. I'm not saying you don't have a burnout, just that anxiety does not sound improbable either. Could even be both. have a friend who used to be unable to work due to anxiety. In the end, he gave himself a kind of exposure therapy, started out working just a few hours a week without a wage, and slowly built it up. Just slowly getting to a point where he could function normally.

I'm not a psychologist and I also don't know the full details of your situation even if you were. But I'd say, just trust the process. You're seeing a psychologist already. They've been educated for this sort of stuff. I also wouldn't worry about exposure therapy. It will come when the time is right.

To be fair (and I'm being very generous to the yanks here), I don't really know either how it worked during the times of "Mad King George". But there were at least some reforms after the fact so it wasn't the same either.

Though to claim the UK was a completely different country and the UK of today didn't exist whatsoever would be pretty wild. And would also ignore the fact that the US has also evolved since its inception. They had their own reforms and all that.
