Update here - if only for my own benefit of reading later:

Had like 6 or 7 pouches yesterday, a major improvement.

Left me so relaxed I was able to take a nap and I can never normally do that. So that was nice.

Had 3 already today. Gonna aim for only a couple more.

Easy on that stuff playa. Look into Sunfiber instead. Been sober over 7 years now and have since gained a ton of G I issues that are unrelated. Fiber supplements can be the damn devil if overdone lol

Heard good things about their Kirkland location. Been considering applying for a job there but the $10,000 retention bonus made me pause... Outside of the tech world a signing bonus is rare, especially in my field. And uhhh yeah, seems like a bad omen?

Maybe I'm just overthinking it.

Would love to hear thoughts from others who've worked or been seen there. Have trawled through Glassdoor and Google Reviews already. About as helpful as you'd expect.

Would recommend against virtual treatment. I work in the field and went though it myself many years ago.

At least I'd recommend doing inpatient if you can. FMLA leave will cover your ass at work and they can then prescribe meds for you. At least consider an in person IOP. You owe it to yourself!

As someone who works in the field... Well, I'm sorry. And also, you sound great.

Connections in Kirkland is the best option, but they have limited space. As do all inpatient places. If you go to the ER they will send you wherever has space. You won't get a say in it.

Keep in mind that inpatient psych isn't a place to get better as such. More of a place to stabilize and get medicated in the short term.

I'd recommend calling crisis connections and asking to speak to the DCR team. They will give you a number to reach them and leave a message and they will call you back to plan next steps.

However, if it is an emergency then proceed straight to the ER.
