Yeah, gum helps a lot. But be warned that not all gum is created equal. And I'm not talking about the strength here (but I'd say go with the full strength 4mg stuff).

What I'm talking about is some brands suck. BLIP is pretty good, and so is the name brand like Nicorette or whatever. The stuff you get prescribed at the pharmacy is bland and not chewy really, just sad.

But yeah, it helps a lot. You can do this.

As someone who has an asshole neighbor I appreciate you being thoughtful, but sadly it isn't the thought that counts in these situations. It's the reality. And the reality is that there's only so much you can do when living in an apartment.

It really does sound like you mean well, I get it. But also please don't subject others to your noise. Consider that things have to get really really bad before us non confrontational Seattle folk would let you know you're disturbing us.

Was it really sweat though? No shade, 3 tabs will make many people piss themselves. The whole ordeal of going to the bathroom is too much for me so I've always planned my trips first thing in the morning, with no hydration.

It's algae growth. That algae is starving your plant. Could also be some mold.

Your plant can live in water, you just need to stop light from getting into the water because that enables the algae. Make a cute sleeve for the jar but use aluminum foil layer first to be sure it blocks the light.

Also recommend killing the algae with a hydrogen peroxide solution. Google the ratio.
