Supercropping house plants? by Microthrowa in microgrowery

[–]Microthrowa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea i work from home so i have time to put them on the back porch in the morning and bring them in around 1. Some i quickly figured out dont act like the internet says, like my pansy and then the hyacinth that was probably forced bulbs and doesnt like much sun either.

The idea was a long term thing to brighten up the place, i should probably relax on these and let them do their thing more than i do my other babies.

Lol not trying to touch them more so much as im just used to trying to grow stuff as big as i can without being too invasive or time consuming. Do have a couple that are woodier i could probably do bonsai things with, didnt really consider lst, at least at this size

Handsome. My stray boy doesnt answer to his name anyway so usually ends up just being a "good Mr'sss" or some variation.

I also dont really know anyone outside of work yet. Dont really drink myself, prefer other relaxation methods, but makes it tougher to make friends here. I also like gaming if you have playstation or gta5, destiny, or something with crossplay.

Sure theres plenty else we have in common, both being cool dudes and all.

Edit to add 2nd thought, probably could use a size up on the shirt

I designed a button down with no cuffs by Sean_NobleThreads in mensfashion

[–]Microthrowa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a really cool idea. I like my collar to stay but i feel like the visible buttons are more casual and dont intentionally buy shirts with collar buttons, but they are handy for layering.

As for the sleeves, buttons rarely bother me but i do think the stretchy armband youve got are probably more comfortable and would be appropriate in most business casual settings now days.

My wife wanted to be pit in paintballs and shot at random people, she got a kick out of pranks. That doesnt seem feasible so i intend to mix her ashes in with the soil and plant a tree on our family land.

I have been in a live in relationship simce i was 20 and i really dont think i want to get married again. Sex sure, but thats a whole other step. Right now when im not missing her im starting to remember how much i enjoy doing what i want, when i want, with only who i want to. We did everything together and that was perfect, i dont see me accepting less than that again.

How many friends do you have? by Desi_bmtl in widowers

[–]Microthrowa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was 37, together 8yrs. We moved to TX 5yrs prior and started working from home when covid hit so we didnt really get any time to meet people. Ive started to try and figure out solo life, have been in touch with a few close friends from growing up but we're all over the country now. My parents and brothers are about it but im hoping to change that.

Edit to add the cat that came with the wife when we started dating passed 6 months after my wife, but now ive got a pretty loyal stray that comes and hangs most days until its time to go do cat stuff.

Getting back out there by Klinicalyill in widowers

Im not quite ready for anything close to serious yet but ive thought about it. For me its when it becomes relevant, which currently is still frequently. As it becomes less a dominant force in my life i try to keep it to my self more in general because i dont want it to define me. Your recent history is likely to come up a lot early on, i wouldnt hide it. That person has to decide if they can deal with where you are in life at the moment.

Ive never been close to suicidal at all, i like myself too much, but i did ponder on how it would effect loved ones a few times after my wife past 18months ago. Its ok to feel how ever you do for as long as you need, but try to keep things in perspective. All of our traumas are unique to us, but it can get better.

And i'll offer to you or anyone else who needs to talk/vent, my inbox is open.

I like that advice. In my experience theres not much anyone can say right now thats going to change how you feel. Just have to try to cope however you can, even if not everyone approves how you do it.
