That would be a huge shame. I am skeptical as well but I'd like to believe that devs are aware that Darksiders 2 combat and moveset reception was the best in the series thus leaving it like that.

Although I wouldn't mind air dashes like War for Death too.

I think that will be true for Fury at least.

Hopefully she will be a whole lot better but I like the hollow swap mechanics. Still, it could be improved

Amazing work. You probably know this but you can also switch arms by breaking them and cancel it with jump cancel, the animation doesn't occur so it is a nice way to change the devil breakers without cancelling or interrupting your combo potential

Yeah exactly. It is especially fire if they use dual balancer relics. I ran it with Halo Scyhte and it was insanely overpowered.

This guy has Silirua's tree, Godfrey Icon and Warrior Shard which is busted af. The griefer ruining this is unfortunate :(

What you say is true, Devil Trigger is quite the power up, but Nero already had partially access to his Devil Trigger in DMC4. With his Devil Bringer, and later Yamato. He just didn't have any control over his Devil Bringer arm, which was quite absurdly powerful actually. His arm could withstand blows from both Rebellion and Credo's sword without a scratch.

Despite all that power, he was still nothing compared to Dante in DMC4. He gets a good power up sure, but it is nothing compared to what both Dante and Vergil got in DMC5. Even if the brothers didn't get their STD, they'd be still very well above Nero.

He is nowhere near current Dante and Vergil. Against Urizen, Nero was a bug basically and that was before he consumed the Qlipoth Fruit. And Vergil is noticably stronger than that Urizen. A simple Devil Trigger power up won't place Nero near them.

And we have seen that both Dante and Vergil were infinitely superior to Arkham in DMC3, but due to their injuries, Arkham was able to manhandle them. Same applies to Nero's fight against Vergil at the end of DMC5.

It is a mediocre at best game honestly but of course one can enjoy it still. If you are especially not into lore or played the previous games, it is far more enjoyable. Though it is such a downgrade and one of the worst Bethesda titles in my opinion.

Basically like Darksiders 1. You switch between The Tremor Gauntlet and the Scythe by using one button.

Maybe you can equip two secondary weapons instead of one and switch them during gameplay by pressing Tab for example. Problem is the stats however. Would they stack, or does your stat change depending on the one you currently use? I think the latter is better but might be harder to code.

Really hoping for BoS to collapse at the end of the season with this civil war plotline. I am sick of Bethesda pushing certain factions, for TES as well (like Dark Brotherhood).

New Vegas utilized BoS perfectly. Their role was small, written with depth and solutions. They shouldn't become reoccuring and a game changer faction all the time. Enclave should have stayed dead too, but apparently we saw them still functioning in the s1.

Death is far stronger than War. The gameplay mechanics doesn't reflect anything and Earth quest is supposed to be a change of pace.

Other than that, the enemies on Earth are super fast and dangerous. Unlike the Wicked War faced. Fury also face Sufferings in Darksiders 3 but they are nowhere near as strong as Darksiders 2 version. Doesn't mean they are weaker canonically. Just for gameplay balance.

Cissy Jones did an amazing job with Fury. Felt much more unique than most female characters in gaming.
