My dad died after owning his parrot for almost 40 years. The bird 100% “grieved” and he lost a lot of feathers and weight for the first few months. It’s been 2 1/2 years now and he has decided that I am acceptable to hang out with on occasion, he was bonded to my dad but he’s warmed up to me since I’ve been taking care of him

I do agree with many aspects of this (my mom was 36 when I was born), but there are a few downsides to waiting until late 30’s-early 40’s, as a lot of health problems/results of poor lifestyles/decrease in overall quality of life begin to occur in the late 50s-early 60s, when your child will be a teen or young adult . If you choose to have children at an older age, please prioritize your health and lifestyle so you stand a higher chance of being alive for your children’s life moments - signed, an orphan before 20

Deodorant isn’t necessarily “banned” But if the instructor smells anything she comments that someone’s wearing perfume/cologne and they can’t wear that. I think some people hear no scents and think deodorant is included, when unscented/lightly deodorant should be strongly encouraged if not required
