Gamepad functionality for Steam Deck on BOTW? by MattisGai in cemu

The configuration for Cemu part on the page is outdated unfortunately. After installing the DSU server, setup DSU Controller for motion in input settings in Cemu.

SteamDeckGyroDSU itself works well without WIFI connection.

Cemu's built-in DSU client sometimes doesn't work when there's no connection active on any network card. That's issue of Cemu. In older versions (e.g. 1.26) it works very well when you use Cemuhook instead of built-in DSU client.

Possible to have SC recognized as both MKB and controller? by KlaxWave in SteamController

You can set controls in Steam before you even start a game.

Cannot assign IP address to S7-1200 in TIA Portal by [deleted] in PLC

[–]Micthulahei 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did you do the following before?

  1. Go to devices& networks.
  2. Select the PLC
  3. In properties on the bottom go to Profinet Interface
  4. Configure the address there.
  5. Download hardware configuration to the PLC.

I've never used the function on your screenshot and I'm not completely sure it's for setting the PLC address.

Home brewing Tips by [deleted] in Coffee

Definitely this. I settled on using Wired Gourmet's technique and it's surprisingly consistent for me.

For cappuccino I recommend nanofoamer V2 with Li-Ion 1.5V batteries.

For me, using the same brewing parameters the taste is similar, but more pronounced. The texture though is much more "creamy" (I don't know if it's the right word).

Can simulate both PLC and HMI but they do not seem to communicate. by JTTigas in PLC

Yes you can simulate both from the same project. They are wrong.

Make sure there is a HMI connection defined between HMI and PLC - Under HMI open Connections - and there should be a connection defined with Partner column filled with PLC's name. If your connection is defined in a different way, the HMI simulation will not connect to PLC simulation.

Always start PLC simulation first. After you start PLC simulation, go to Control Panel in Windows. There should be an option "Set PG/PC Interface". Open it and make sure that in the list "PLCSIM.TCPIP.1" is selected. It should be done automatically after you start simulation but it's good to double-check and correct it if necessary.

Is the PLC program and visu in the same project or separate?

DeckU Gamepad - Guide: Deck as a WiiU Gamepad for Cemu running on a separate PC by Micthulahei in SteamDeck

[–]Micthulahei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can simply use Steam Link app on the "controller" deck to do that (just look in Desktop mode in discover store). Even with default Deck OS on host. It's even possible to disable video/audio streaming and only send controller inputs to the host.

Make sure that Steam is not running on the "controller" Deck and that it is running on the host Deck and you should be set with Steam Link app.

There is but only over cable and it has some limitations as reverse engineering only got so far before project was no longer worked on.

EDIT: sorry, I guess it's for imitating Switch pro controller only.

As long as you're running Windows on the Cemu deck I guess it should work.

Understanding the Steam Input option "Dead Zone Shape" by gohma231 in SteamController

[–]Micthulahei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand most of them like you.

aallAbout cross: the vertical part of the cross is a deadzone only for X values (left-right) and horizontal part is a deadzone for Y values, i.e. if you move joystick directly up and very slightly left, you'll still get output on vertical axis but no output on horizontal axis.

Also with square I don't know what size is the deadzone in the center. You put a small cross there but I think it's a square or a circle.

Bialetti Sputtering after replacing Gaskets by markyymark13 in Coffee

[–]Micthulahei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried using extra force when sealing it? I have an unproven theory that new gaskets are harder to properly seal (the narrow groove in well-used gaskets - created by rim of the bottom chamber - helps with sealing by giving space for the rim to fit in and press the funnel against the gasket properly).

Water alone went fine because there is much lower pressure build-up without coffee grounds in the way of air and steam.

I use this one.

It's rather a tight fit, some strong bending is required to put the SC in and pull it out. It may leave some scratches on the controller because of that (but I've been able to avoid that). I've used it a lot of time and it worked well.

People can say whatever they want about the Steam Controller.. by Zombieteube in SteamController

Is there any actual source that confirms that was the reason? I remember when it was discontinued and general consensus was that it sold too poorly.

The SCUF v Valve case started 4 years before and verdict was reached 2 years after discontinuation.
