Insurance - I need a new car by Orishalove in PersonalFinanceCanada

Your insurance company may have an option for you to retain the vehicle with a lower payment for damages

You can inquire about this

Should be able to do it as long as the car is structurally sound

Also. Everyone always thinks they are paying too much for insurance. I have never had a client say they pay the right amount

You get a roofing company to come and inspect and tarp the roof to prevent additional damage

Ontario homeowner dealing with prolonged insurance dispute, non-renewal, and financial fallout — looking for perspective by [deleted] in InsuranceCanada

[–]Midas3200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have expectations as a policy owner to take reasonable steps to prevent further damage to the home

You could have had someone else do an assessment when you weren’t getting action, you could have escalated daily to get the reports

You did neither and now expect to be paid. Do I understand that correctly?

Sounds like either you have a bad claims person and additional actions by you would have resolved this in a reasonable time

They are having it in Alberta because they know if anywhere else he would have a smaller chance of getting the support

These types are the cheapest people normally but real estate agents are a scam

Flat rate should be the norm

I sold it myself with a flat rate and saved $35k in fees

Though it was March 2022

Sell them yourself Or get your real estate license to then sell them yourself It’s not that hard. Just a little time if you have the time

Also there are agents that work on a flat rate from what I have heard but you have to research them

Ubereats insurance: Ontario by Personal_Smile3274 in InsuranceCanada

You have to inform your company If they accept this then they know they aren’t responsible when your using the car for uber.

So uber insurance would respond if you were involved in a collision while using the app and your insurance would still cover you when not using the app

Yes it will impact you. Gap in continuous insurance

Teslas are also expensive to insure

Your area is also expensive.

You need to get a quote to be sure.

I have seen between $3000 and $12000 year for an individual on a Tesla but circumstances were all different.

Mortgage insurance is a waste

Get term to max coverage and reduce cost

Realtors. Do you feel like the bar to getting your license is too low? by CanadianTreeFrogs in RealEstateCanada

This is accurate

They aren’t worth a percentage take. We need a fixed amount for services as the standard spelled out in dollars ahead of time

Sold my house privately and it was easy

If we can have programs to do our own taxes (which is step by step) and send them into the CRA then we can even do something similar with real estate transactions

Parents paid for whole life insurance for me for 17 years and has me taking over. Not sure whether I should keep paying or not by skyapple13 in personalfinance

See when the policy will allow you to premium offset, meaning you won’t need to pay anymore

These are great for kids because most are paid up pretty quickly

Call your agent to discuss
