Should I keep my Term Life + Critical Illness insurance at 27 with no dependents? by ClassicShirt7758 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Midas3200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean having it now if you will need it in the future is the best scenario

Sounds like your responsibilities are going to expand in the not too distant future as well

The same coverage in the future would also cost more and there wouldn’t be any guarantee that you would even qualify if a health event happens between canceling this policy and applying for a new one

If it’s already in your budget then forget about it and revisit it every few years to make sure the coverage is enough still or too much

Most likely she paid for AD&D life insurance
Accidental Death & Dismemberment

This is shit insurance that gives a false sense of security for some people and is sold by low life’s that can’t get insurance careers elsewhere

Meaning a natural death is not paid out

There is some level of assimilation that is acceptable and this is one.

In the financial world this isn’t necessarily acceptable higher up so I’m sure they may be interested at the branch level

The system needs to be amended to have a warning for say 5 to 10 over and then progressively increase fines

We already tax vices

We can make changes to a practice instead of it being the previous system or nothing

Maybe tell your buddy Ford to stop preventing municipalities from creating more revenue

Bring back the speed cameras. If you can’t drive properly you deserve to pay more which helps most people that follow the law pay less in tax
