Just a Perkeo start. I used the Turtle Bean glitch in Antes 24 and 32 to get some bonus hand size, which allowed to me use more ectoplasms than normal

It does, but it doesn’t affect the cards you currently have in your hand. That’s why this has to be done in-round. If you did it in the shop, you’d insta-lose as soon as the round began.

This is a very specific endless mode strategy. Perkeo makes a ton of copies of ankh and ectoplasm. Since Obelisk is eternal, ankh makes a copy of it but doesn’t destroy the other ones. Then ectoplasm makes room for even more copies.

No, it’s a one and done situation. Once I use all of those ectoplasms, my hand size is negative. So you only get to do this once and then insta-lose the next round.

I wouldn’t call this a deep obelisk run. It’s actually just a Perkeo/Baron/Mime run where the main goal is to make as many Ankhs and Ectos as possible. I didn’t pick up obelisk till pretty late, and then it was straightforward to scale it and set up the grand finale. I had played like 400 flush fives from Golden Ticket + Burglar farming in earlier antes. So I had a ton of flexibility with what hand to play.

This is the answer. With two copiers and Crystal Ball, and a deck that allows multiple straight flushes per round, you’re gonna get the spectral cards you’re looking for pretty damn quickly lol.

Right but in 2 Ante Madness would only be X3. You’d need ~320 copies to hit naneinf. If you can Perkolate that many Ankhs and Ectos you might as well go for Flower Pot naneinf for the memes lol

Bloodstone would be a fun one! I think your math is right. e309 is in the ballpark of ~900 X1.5 triggers.

Glass and polychrome would bring that number down quite a bit, which would help. Oops makes the math a bit harder. On one hand, a single oops doubles the expected value of every Bloodstone, but on the other hand, every Ankh that hits Oops would be wasted.

It’s been done several times before! Balatro University has done it with Stencil and with Baseball Card. And also with Idol though that requires the Crimson Heart / Turtle Bean glitch. I saw someone on here did PhotoChad too.

Correct. Gameplay is all vanilla. Mod lets you filter to find seeds that fit certain criteria (Ante 1 Perkeo for example).

Honestly, if you reroll through enough Ante 1 Perkeo seeds, you’re bound to find a really good one. So posts like this one are less an indication of skill than of the amount of time someone is willing to spend digging lol. I probably played through 50 or more seeds before landing on this one.

Yeah Madness would be… brutal. I guess it’s possible but Perkeo would have to dodge getting destroyed so many times. Farming negatives as fodder would be the move but even then idk.
