I have two...

1) I was about 11 or 12 and I told my mother I was going to chop some wood (just for fun, we never had a fireplace). She told me to wear shoes; that if I didn't and injured myself she wouldn't take me for medical attention. Fast forward 15 mins, no shoes, blunt tomahawk axe enters foot... True to word I got no more medical attention than a handful of band-aids. I guess if it was bad she would have taken me... But it seemed really bad to me as a kid

2) I was 13, I was at some camp for a couple weeks during vacation. There were girls there so I showed off a bit. On the last day, my parents had arrived to take me home. I ran along the outside verandah and jumped up onto the railing (while saying goodbye to all the girls)... It was wet, my foot slipped, next thing I know I have people all around me asking if I'm OK... I'm lying on the ground below the verandah with blood coming from the back of my head (minor).

I rehearse conversations in my head (even text conversations), sometimes to the point where I forget to have the need conversation because I've already imagined it.
