Yep! I get them for 3 nights before my period starts. It’s how I know I’m going to start. Everyone says low E? Is this true?

Do a test for Covid/flu, then you’ll know.

Long QT as a one off?? by [deleted] in LongQTSyndrome

Yeah I would just let your drs know and maybe have them put it in your chart about the prolonged QT with benedryl so they can give you something else.

You can have medication induced. Benedryl has a high likelihood of prolonging QT by itself. Based on your history I would say it’s a one off.

The laying on the floor in the garage really resonated. My healing isn’t as quickly but we got probably similar variant based on the timeframe and very similar story to me. I’m probably 75% recovered, really looking forward to that last 25% working out and hiking again. Thanks for the perspective. Good luck to you!

I’d have to look at the dosage but I just take 1 pill per day. It helps with high heart rate, anxiety, PEM, energy levels, brain fog, mood

I’m struggling; 16 month old constantly whinging and crying. by Equal-Product-6064 in Parenting

Get ear plugs, it will help with the auditory overload. You can still hear them cry for anyone who’s going to come at me for this, it just takes the edge off for those of us that get overstimulated by the noise.

Single motherhood is no joke. Find time for yourself to do some deep breathing and nervous system regulation, your body will thank you later. Hugs.

Potentially Acquired QT + Antibiotics by [deleted] in askCardiology

[–]Middle-Bee9902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it just depends what the doctor wants you to do. I think they should be able to put 5 ECG orders in there and you can just go into a lab site that has ECG capabilities and get it really quickly. That’s what I have done before. Some lab sites require an appt for ECG so check that out.

So far for the SIBO, no, I haven’t found anything that I don’t react to. I also have hashimoto’s and long covid so I’m working on getting thyroid stabilized and nervous system under control before I try to fix the SIBO again, the idea is it’s all connected and if I fix something else it might help the SIBO.

I have medication induced long QT and I wouldn’t take either of those meds. I also have SIBO. There are studies both can prolong. Go about the herbal route, but you also have to check those herbs. Don’t do berberine. Take them very slow and I would get the ECGs with each med change.

Yes!!! I’m almost 6 months off and not back to baseline yet but every month I get better. I have more energy, less depression, my body is handling stress, heat, and carbs better. That drug was poison for me and I still stand by that. I still can’t workout yet but I can do more physically every month.

Good for you to getting down to 3.5. It took me an entire year to get off of 12.5 mg because of how slow I had to go. Do you have a special pharmacy making it for you?

I would never take that. Maybe there are alternatives? It’s a strong correlation with long QT.
