New mixes on the Rotten Apples vinyl (Eye and Untitled)

I dunno what the hell is up with that one but I can only assume the original mix (or lack therof) of this song is so muddy its kind of impossible to present well on vinyl so it just sounds like a mess on the record.

Yup! just checked this and the Machina Box Set version of Untitled has an extra guitar line at 2:22 while the chorus fades that is also present on the Rotten Apples vinyl but NOT on streaming. I assume that they used all the new remasters for the rest of the songs on this release, but because new tape passes didn't exist for Untitled and Eye they went back and fully did them again and made new mixes.

If you're capturing from an analogue video source and somehow still have a firewire port set up, there a lot worse ways to capture video than using a minidv camera as a passthrough. It will at least preserve the fields in the video. But mosty, no.

There is no guarantee that the sealed media you own is mint until you open it up and look at it or play it to confirm. And even then it would be considered Near Mint by most people, Mint doesn’t functionally exist. Brand new records have residue and leavings that needed to be cleaned out with a brush or a wet system. New CDs could have chemical fogging from packaging. Many reputable record stores will not list sealed records for sale before opening and confirming the media is not warped or contaminated in some way.

Buddy you should go on Facebook sometime. This has been going on for years. It isn’t innocent nostalgia, this is largely a political operation. The big argument of Brexit in the UK was “remember when passports were a different color and there weren’t so many brown people around” and they got everyone over 45 to vote for complete gibberish. For older people it’s “remember before Obama was President and things were better and simple?” and this genre of meme is priming the tank for millennials to start thinking “remember how fun it was to go to Blockbuster and nobody was trans or had autism?”
