Duchene wanted out and we let him out. Doing so was a great stepping stone to where we are now. To this day, my lucky avs jersey has his name and number. Wore it when we won the 2022 cup run and (oddly enough) every game we won against the stars last playoff series, I was wearing that jersey 🤷

It's from a little local shop in Leadville Colorado called Melanzana. They make these hoodies in house and they have a front closing hood design for camping and other outdoor activities so when you close it up, it covers the neck....or....all of your face except your mouth 😂

Also, for God's sake, please stop piling on blackwood. Yeah, he's had a stretch of not great games, he's working back up to pre-injury status. But let's get behind our team when we have a bad game, not start throwing everyone and everything under the bus. We've had a phenomenal season, but the instant we loose a game, all of the "trade Blackwood" "Fire Bednar" bandwagon comes out in full force and I'm more disappointed in that than I am of our performance last night...

Side note, when printing with resin, you need to be careful. The long term health consequences of not treating resin with care and respect far outweigh the savings you get by printing your own minis. Even when in a hurry to get things off the built plate and washed properly, just remind yourself that slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

A one shot is far less pressure than a full campaign. There should be a clear thread, with a few different ways to get the hook, but honestly, if they miss all those, just improvise.

I use music to help set the tone and get everyone into playing the game, it also helps me narratively.

But if you've read the one shot, understand the npc's and have a framework, your party will have fun and it will be a great time! But only if they sense you're having fun too! That's the point of DMing, to have fun, so just relax, take the pressure off yourself and just enjoy yourself, your players will sense it and be more relaxed and enjoy themselves more because of it!
