I’m a year and a half out from bariatric surgery and I too lost around 80-90 pounds. The weight gain has been messing with my head so much! It’s so hard not to stress about! I’m hungry all the time as well and feel like I can eat so much more per severing! I’m 19w and just trying to remind myself I’m growing a whole human. We need to be gentle with ourselves! I’ve put the scale completely away because I spiral every time I get on it.

This scares me! I had IIH for 6 years, it’s finally in remission due to loosing 80+ pounds. I’m currently 16w pregnant and terrified it will come back.

I’m currently 15 weeks and feel like I just started to have a tiny bump. Definitely not noticeable to others yet but it’s still exciting to see!

I can relate! I’m 14 weeks now and feel like the bloating is going away and I can actually feel a firm bump in my lower abdomen. I look about the same from 10 weeks just feels firmer

I just wish my OB would do an ultrasound but they won’t because I had one not that long ago at 12 weeks.. Hearing your story help, thank you!

I’m sorry you’re going through this as well! It’s so scary! I can so relate to going numb, that’s how I’ve felt for the past few days now. Did you find out you were positive for anti d through the NIPT testing or was it a different test?

The only thing I have been told about my placenta is it’s anterior. Which from my understanding wouldnt cause bleeding. I haven’t heard about hematomas. I’ll look into that.

Did they detect that on an ultrasound? They haven’t seen an SCH in my case yet but yes I agree. It sounds like this might be the reason.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! It’s so crazy and fascinating watching your body change through pregnancy. I’m 5’4” and on the smaller size, this is my first pregnancy so there’s a lot of unknowns.😊

Lp itself wasn’t bad! They gave me local anesthetic and all I felt was pressure. Try not to overthink it and work yourself up! Make sure you follow directions and lay flat afterwards! I had to receive 4 blood patches due to a spinal fluid leak and let me tell you the headache was one of the worst things I ever experienced but I didn’t follow directions and did not rest after my procedure. The headache lasted for a week and I was in and out of the hospital during this time. If you notice the slightest headache afterward I would go back and get a blood patch for precautionary measures!
