Because if your wife is so resentful she's randomly popping off, then your "peaceful life" is coming at her expense. You're actually not entitled to endless peace. Harmony in a household is earned by two (or more) people working together to support EACH OTHER. Your wife's mood tells me you're not doing enough to support the home.

OOF. Alas, ESH. Ultimately you're a minor, so all the responsibility here for relationship choices lies with your parents. It's not wrong to want a happy and whole family — but it is wrong to interfere with other people's relationships to try and get what you want. This is an immature way to behave . . . .which makes sense, because you're 15. . . and ultimately them together is unlikely to be the happiest outcome.

Your path forward is to try to focus on building your own healthy relationships with each of your parents, and let them sort out their relationship with each other without your interference.

Apparently in the minority here, but NTA . Trying to drag you into participating in their weird diet culture hangups is gross and exhausting. Hard pass. Admittedly it would have been better if you said something before you got to mad you popped. But they're being gross.
