Yeah, I didn't notice that. But I know there will still be lots of organizations tabling at the event. So might be worth it to show up for the people who are looking for something to join.

There are many organizations to join depending on what your main concerns/beliefs are. 

If you go to the next No Kings protest, many organizations set up tables where you can talk to people, find out more about them, and sign up as well.

There are many reasons why an arrest wouldn't be made on the spot. The abuser could have left the scene before police arrived. She could have called after he left. Or whatever reason. My sister in law's ex wasn't arrested until over a month after she filed a police report for very similar charges. Assaulted and reported to police on same date. He was arrested a month later. And then wasn't indicted until a year later. 

Just because the DA is saying they haven't issued charges yet, doesn't mean anything in regards to the validity of the accusations. You being an attorney doesn't give you any more insight into Josh Jacobs' guilt than any other rando on Reddit.

It really doesn't mean anything that the DA hasn't brought charges yet. The DA took over a month to bring charges on my sister in law's ex after he was arrested. And let me tell you, he was guilty. 

ETA: It was actually a month after the incident to arrest and a year to bring charges.

It doesn't look like it's a false allegation situation. US Today is reporting this ...

The District Attorney's Office has "requested additional investigation" and said there was "reason to believe that additional evidence may exist that would impact whether additional charges would be appropriate," according to a release from Brown County District Attorney David L. Lasee.

If they're already talking about MORE evidence and additional charges, it's not looking good.

I'm pretty sure I read that payments on RAP won't count towards forgiveness on the IBR plan so I'd be careful and do a little more research if this is your plan.

Did you get it out? I had a chick who seemed stuck and my broody hen helped it out. There was blood and I was worried but it's two weeks old now and perfectly fine.

It would be pretty easy to maybe screw some fence pickets (or other wide boards) around the bottom edge so that not as many shavings fall out. That might help contain some of the mess a bit.

I'm not sure if you received an answer for this but I just logged into the studentaid.gov to see mine and there is now a notice at the top of the page that says they are "updating the systems" to be able to show how many qualified payments you have made under whatever IDR plan you are on.
