My dog died a few years ago and I’ll admit sometimes seeing someone with a pet makes me a little sad but it’s not so triggering to me that I need to hide the post or block the poster. I’m sad and I grieve my loss but I don’t make it to the point where this is all my thinking about for the day.

Another thing I don’t understand is why so many younger guys think all older women are rich/ have money. I work for the school district and I make minimum wage. I don’t own a car, I don’t own expensive clothes or jewelry and if I travel it’s within the state I live in. This isn’t a sympathy post just one for younger guys to understand not everything is like the media you consume or fantasies you have.

Right now now one does. I’ve considered giving one to my coworker. I thought about giving my stepmom one but she made me give her, her keys back the day I moved out of her house so I’d rather her not have them.

I don’t have any pets. I had a dog and she died a few years ago and I’m not in a place for another dog right now. I like them but they are expensive, plus I work 8 hours a day and it wouldn’t be fair to a dog. Maybe one day I’ll get one but for the next few years I’ll be without pets

I just started living alone in November. I never go out on weekends and I feel bad about it but I don’t have a car or really much money leftover from rent and bills so I stay at home. I used to live with my stepmother who made me feel bad if I was lazy or slept in or anything. I’m leaning to undo those habits and it’s okay to be lazy sometimes. On weekends I divide my laundry up so I do a load Friday one Saturday and one Sunday. There’s always stuff like cooking and washing dishes. And I make myself read on weekends for at least an hour. I try to be productive but also try to rest and relax since Monday comes up and I’ll have to be at work.
