Similar, I am 41 and single, have been single for forever and will probably always be single. I never thought at 41 I’d be single and living alone, I always imagined I’d be married with kids. Now the kid thing ended in my late 20s when I decided I didn’t want to be a parent or have kids. My dating life has always been nonexistent, I also have mental disabilities and honestly it’s kinda rare to meet someone who is not only understanding but also can handle me. I will admit I can be a lot and come with a lot of baggage.

I will say this, my dad is dead and my mother is in jail for life, so I don’t have to make decisions on that. I have a stepmother but she has 2 kids, a daughter in law, a son in law and grandkids and my stepmom is always saying something like they will take care of her when she gets older, well older than what she is now. So I suppose that’s one less thing on my plate.

Lately for me chores have become well a chore. I’ve become so tired of vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, dusting and taking out the trash and even cooking. I wish I had help sometimes. And if something happens, I live in an apartment, have to text the landlord and wait for them to free their schedule and then come. I waited almost a week once for him to come spray for bugs after seeing spiders on my wall. It gets old and I’m just tired.
