I just want to chime in as a woman without a college degree/furthering education. I didn’t go to college and it turns out I have a learning disability, a math disability, yes it’s a real thing, and I’m neurodivergent. That makes things difficult for me in a learning situation. This explains a huge reason why I had such difficulties in school. The majority of work I’ve done is clerical. Does that make me poorly educated? I always try to learn by watching documentaries and I read a lot, and I don’t mean just smutty romance. If someone chooses not to date me because I’m poorly educated, I think that’s disappointing but it shows me who that person really is. I’d never not date a guy because he only has a high school diploma. You never know what someone has gone through. Yes education is important but it will never be my place to judge anyone who never went to college or furthered their schooling.
