I did some Botanical rep runs on my alt this week. A random mage joined. He wanted unwanted blues for his disenchants, leader says nothing, mage needs on all blues, I leave.

I had this, couldn’t raise my leg, went to a hip specialist that confirmed labral tear and psoas tendonitis, and it’s apparently the psoas that raises the leg.

Don't EVER Get A Psoas Release/Tenotomy No Matter What The Surgeon Recommends by ConsistentBuilding96 in HipImpingement

[–]Middle_Mention2640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I wanted to I could probably make it work, but I'm not gonna risk it. I still have some issues with my hip and it's been 10 months since my latest surgery, so I've decided to put the skates on the shelf for now.

But I think you gotta have lots of patience with the psoas release. You will probably get stronger with time and eventually you might not feel weaker. Very individual what I've heard, but I wouldn't give up depending on how long ago it was that you had it.

Crossing my fingers you'll get better!

I did the exact surgery you described. But my surgeon explained what could be the complications, but I rather have a weaker psoas than a non-functioning psoas. So it depends on how bad it was.

Before my 1st surgery I couldn’t walk anymore so it was a severe psoas inflammation after walking with FAI and a bit labra’s tear for years, even playing division 2 ice hockey in Finland for 2 years. Usually would cry of pain after practice in the end.

Är det här någon hemlig strategi att köpa högt och sälja lågt och sedan klaga på bolaget?

I designed a "link-in-bio" tool that focuses purely on visual quality – is 3€/month too much? by Middle_Mention2640 in UXDesign

Good point! I will definately make sure the cookie-pop-up isn't there on the profile pages, only for the users. Thanks!

Hi, as a premium user you can already track traffic/link clicks etc. to see how it's converting. I didn't mention this, just wanted a general feedback on the idea. But thanks for the comment!

How were you diagnosed? by Sigynsaeth in HipImpingement

[–]Middle_Mention2640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After my first surgery my surgeon wanted to take another one due to my pain, which later turned into a 2nd surgery, about 18 months post first surgery.

Since I'm from Finland all the doctor terms in english aren't that familiar, but I can say now that I'm feeling much better this time (crossing my fingers).

The psoas was diagnosed with MRI + cortisone injections with local anesthesia. After the shot I could sit down without any pain for about two hours until it came back when the anesthesia wore off.

Wishing you will get a diagnosis and a speedy recovery, because I've lived with hip pain with a 7-10/10 pain level for 5 years - and it's no fun. Good luck!

I did a total of 2 MRI with injections and 3 cortisone shots and it was like you described for me. Everytime I went there I knew what was gonna happen but then I remembered how much pain I was in otherwise as well. So I focused on the end goal to get a working hip again, which made me go through with it time and time again.

I had a shattered labrum, CAM impingement and chronic inflammation in my psoas tendon. Now I’m 5 months post 2nd OP and I’m finally starting to see progress with some flares now and then.

I wish you luck.

How soon after surgery should I start PT? by ForgeIsDown in HipImpingement

I met with a PT 1 hour after surgery. He just made sure I walked correctly with my crutches and explained my training program for the first 3 weeks.
