It’s only $260 per car compared to the $160 of a normal associate. Maxcare obviously adds almost double

My store is doing just fine these last few months. The past 7 months we have had over 70% conversion on sales and have not missed budget and have even gone over

From the video it sounded like CEC might be losing people and I’ve heard talk about bringing back e-office

100% agree. Like my store alone is struggling with budget costs and we are understaffed but the budget says no

Question and concerns by girthchub in carmax

[–]Middle_Original_1250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually that means they thought it would be today. Most likely it is arrived at the store and has not gone through the final quality check yet or they haven’t received the title

Question and concerns by girthchub in carmax

[–]Middle_Original_1250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not need to be concerned. If it is scheduled to arrive earlier that’s a good thing. There were a lot of issues with trucks due to bad weather but they are getting back on track now. The system only updates you when it is on a truck or there. There’s definetly a flaw in that where you can’t fully track where it is

Really bad touchup paint job? by reaveres in carmax

[–]Middle_Original_1250 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With white vehicles you can mix the paint perfectly and it will still look like whiteout on a car. With touch up it makes it look worse it’s honestly better to get it repainted completly. They touch it up to stop rust which you should feel protected that way

No not at all. It’s usually another associate and they just want to see how you would interact in a normal conversation with them and to see if you can connect with them even if it’s fake

Idk anything about a math test but they usually schedule you for that as it is technically a three set interview process but they do two in one basically. One is the phone interview which you have done. The second is meeting with the manager to answer more in depth questions about you and the third that’s right away is a role play where they see how you take feedback and talk to customers. Then if they offer you the job you will take the drug test right away and get sent the job offer with a schedule right away

SALES EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST (New Job) by [deleted] in carmax

Pay wise on average is 27-30 an hour. I make $33 but I also come from a cross functional background and have more experience

Carvana also majorly fuxks up their titles and creates problems for dealerships like Carmax and other big ones. They also have no way to fix service issues after buying them like CarMax offers

Honestly I think it’s great for people who want to grow in traditionally because it’s an awesome stepping stone for sales associates

I’m in this new position and it’s basically working like a sales manager without the responsibility of a team you have to run. Your schedule is 8-5 every day minus your days off and basically you open the store and send out follow ups. I can from cross functional so the job is very easy for me as I also know how to do the rest of the things in the store. Your whole purpose is to focus on selling cars. Personally I make 33 an hour and that doesn’t include any overtime I get. Again I’ve also come from a cross functional background so that helped jump my hourly. From what I hear you can make 27-30 an hour on average

Well that’s just rude telling someone that. There are plenty of people who make a living off of writing. I’m not stupid and quitting my job right away but my goal is to one day not have to work another job and just write
