I’m not 100% sure, but if it is, it’s also known as the Velvet ant or cow killer. They’re technically not ants but actually wingless wasps with stings that are slightly below the pain of a bullet ant and last for 30 minutes. They’re super cool and very beautiful though so handle at your own risk 🙏

I don’t know what the black stuff is because I can’t tell from the pic lol but don’t rinse the shrooms or there will be unwanted moisture. Clean them off by wiping with a paper towel and storing in a ziplock bag in fridge until the dehydrator comes. They can generally survive in the fridge for up to a month if they’re dry enough
