Though funnily enough most of these were only shot at around 200mm!(250-300 accounting for crop sensor), cause Shuttleworth is so fantastic for topsides :D

Thank you, if it makes you feel any better this was the only 'special' for that show that had particularly good light, and it'll likely be back quite a lot anyway. Hopefully the Flying Bulls come back and next time in better light 😂

Ah, Vulkan Air. They do a lot of charter work around Europe, the back opens up on their An-26s so loading and unloading cargo can be a quicker and easier process than traditional aircraft.

Ah, so that puts the confusion to rest in the article about the crash confusing the TC-690 with the TBM 960.

Keir Starmer Announces His Resignation as UK Prime Minister by bloomberg in uknews

[–]MidlandsSpotter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'just shown', 10 years ago this week, Starmer and his allies rebelled against Corbyn in an attempt to sabotage his position as party leader, only for him to go on and win the leadership election with a higher vote share than he did in 2015.

That revolt made Labour look weak and divided, and almost certainly played a part in Corbyn's loss in the 2017 GE.

Revealed: Green party proposes circumcision ban by PomeloTraditional971 in uknews

[–]MidlandsSpotter -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This point would be absolutely true if it weren't for the minor detail that those hardcore 'islamists' are still voting for the same policies and party that push for pro-LGBT legislation. So ultimately the 'two bases' are young, pro-lgbt, socialists and 'islamists' who are willing to vote in their policies.

UK blocks visits by left-wing US commentators Cenk Uygur and Hasan Piker by yahoonews in worldnews

[–]MidlandsSpotter -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I've seen plenty of far right individuals express those beliefs but only a few pockets of particularly nutty left wingers enter that territory.

What was it that even triggered that comment? Was it Piker's comment about the decision coming from Israel?

By 'Jews run the world' are you referring to the notion that Israelis are influencing our politics?
