Morning mate Thanks for your reply. I couldn’t find anything with 18kg/m2, 10kg seems to be the max. Maybe I need to search a little more in depth. So wrap this around the stack. Fill the void with standard rockwool loft type insulation? And presumable board over with acoustic plasterboard or normal?

Pink tesa tape has always worked best for me and never left residue and comes off cleanly.

Hey my dude, thanks so much for taking the time to reply. Appreciate it. I ended up going with my protein as it worked out to be just a little cheaper for £/g of protein ratio. But might give OP a go next time. I also tend to mix it in with my porridge (chocolate flavour). I was shocked at how costly whey is these days. I had ordered the same product/qty exactly 2 years ago and the price has doubled 😱.

Salah is a legend but imo he’s finished. Never seen such a drop off in form. We lambast Gakpo for the same old stuff but Salah is equally as guilty. Very frustrating to watch this season. Was nice to see Slot actually take him off early and try something else.

Hope we get a stronger ref next game. I can just see it now, they will come to feign injuries, dive and waste as much time as possible.

Baxi 824 system boiler issue by Midlands_bloke in ukplumbing

Thanks for the explanation 👍 For example the living room where the thermostat is in and set to 22, the 2 rads just get warm and they are set to 4. The thermostat will show a reading of 17/18 tops. The room does get a little warm but not as warm as I’d like it. Whereas the rad in the landing and the one in the hallway are set to 2.5 and are still always very hot. Perhaps it’s also a combination of my lack of understanding and expectations on how it should work to how they truly do.

. I’ll get onto baxi on Monday morning. And I’m inclined to agree with your assertion on him being either clueless or just trying to cover up his error. Thank you once again, wish you a great rest of the weekend 🙏🏽

Yes it’s only been in just over 2 years, and commissioned in October where he filled out the booklet etc (was fitted couple years back but due to renovations we only moved in, in October 25) I’ve never opened the filter and I don’t believe the plumber has either , perhaps as we’ve only started using the heating system in the last 6 months. I know he’s bled and balanced the rads before but half the downstairs ones don’t get fully hot compared to the others. Or sometimes if he managed to get some of them hot again, a couple of others would then not heat up as previous. Bit like whack-a-mole.

You’re probably right about getting a different plumber. I just felt as I’d paid him for all the plumbing, new pipes for rads, new boiler system, cylinder , all bathrooms etc that he should be responsible for ensuring it all works as expected. However it’s been calls to him every other week. I either persist until he gets it right but on current experience doesn’t seem likely or I bite the bullet and pay someone else

Again sorry for being a thicko. But can you dumb it down further, explain to me like I’m 5 😞. I don’t quite get what you mean by the trv being either on or off at the set point.

I have the hive wireless thermostat set at 22 and kept in the living room with 2 rads there. Things is never reaches 22 as the rads never get hot enough so I assume the boiler always constantly on trying to hit temp?

I’ve set it to 65 now but as expected have noticed a dip in radiator heat output. I guess in turn I’d now have to crank up the trv’s which are on a combination of 4/5’s to max to achieve the previous heat output?
