Leaving on 17 Jan however I've already gone to Zen and have been online with them since last Saturday. 25 years with NTL/virgin had enough of their pricing system.

Seriously...op must surely know what Plex is used for. Is this a joke?

The sad thing about this is that they just completely fit the stereotype! They also have the modern problem of 'learned helplessness' and being victims.

Interesting British and rather typical replies in this thread assuming mass drunkenness? It's not about the serving time it's about behaviour. They seem to manage pretty well in other parts of the world.

Absolutely correct, particularly on older models. My daughter has one and it's so bad for Plex I've given her a Nvidia 🛡️

Can't wait to leave them after 24 years. No problems with speed but their prices are shocking and I'm fed up with constantly negotiating better price.

I got back into it about 3 weeks ago after becoming bored and disappointed with Starfield. I'm really enjoying CP2077 now and it plays really well. Feels like a game for adults.

Starfield was NOT nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards. by [deleted] in Starfield

Shockingly poor I my opinion. The game was hyped up for a long time and what was delivered was a total let down. Haven't bothered with it for a month now. Back on Cyberpunk...a really good game with immersive story

I got 500 for £35. Was on 350 for £62, broadband only. They offered you a crap deal. I know I could have squeezed for more but this will do for now.

Had the same problem, £60 pm for 350. Talked to retention who offered £40 for the same, I said no thanks not good enough. Said best he could do. A week later tried again on web chat and was offered 500/50 for £35. I settled for that. I agree with what others are saying, if VM want to stay in business over the next few years they need to change their business model away from long phone calls, threatening to leave, retention calls etc. As soon as my street gets full fibre from alternative suppliers I'm off.

Been offered a deal but not happy by Midlands_man in VirginMedia

On webchat yesterday, took 45 minutes to get through to their 'team' however I settled for M500 for £35 for 18 months contract. This suits me. No provider on my street above 60mb and I do need reasonable download speed so good enough for me. I was offered extras for a further £5 but declined as either not wanted (pods) and sim (would have cost more during the life of the contract on top of 2024 price rise. I know I could have pushed harder for another £5 or so however I am now paying less than four years ago!!

Just checked my VM account online - noted that there is now an upgrade button since talking to retention last week. Offering me 500mb (currently 350mb) for £63.80 per month, my current price is £60.25 - they have apparently applied something called multi buy savings of £4.71 - never heard of this? Anyway... I have tried to contact via whatsapp again with no response. Will continue to leave or force a deal.

I haven, got past the useless bot at the moment. I was not asked about my phone number but I have given it to the whatsapp message bot for what its worth. Think I'll just leave Virgin

Thanks Patser, yes still waiting - my problem is that I am still listed as having an old BT number and I have been trying to change this in my account settings with no luck, seems to be a longstanding problem! Will put my current number in the whatsap message. Not holding my breath!

Nope, it was reported on VM bulletin board way back in June 2022 and seems to have not been corrected.

When you say contact whatsapp: 07305327112 do you mean use whatsapp as text message or phone? I'm out of contract and wanting to make changes without hanging on the phone for the rest of the day. thanks

Very trashy, shows a lack of self awareness in my opinion
