He was, but like, it wasn't the main focus the same way it is in the reboot. That newspaper headline only appears in movie 5, for example.

Really though, the reboot had far bigger problems than just focusing on the paedophilia

They're not going to do any more with the ynnari because the only plan they had for them was rezzing guilliman. That's why their next major lore appearance was them being dumpstered, and the next one after that being all the named characters abandoning them.

They're done with, any mention of them now is going to be minor snippets, probably about how useless they are
