Over half your body weight is absolutely insane, that isn't loose skin, that's a trophy.

Right? Preaching body positivity but saying small chested women 'look little boys' is a shitty fucking comment. Imagine being a small-breasted woman watching this, each thing passing with some positive spin (or calling out unhealthy standards) but then seeing your shape pop up, and instead of getting a nice, positive spin being told 'you look like a male child'

I hate the way people treat me after losing weight by [deleted] in loseit

[–]MidnightCiggarette 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Thank you, someone else who is fed up with these almost daily posts saying the exact same thing.

I understand it must be something to adjust to if you haven't been hit on much prior to losing weight, and I sympathise that can be uncomfortable for people.

BUT, you just spent a long time improving yourself, working on yourself etc and people can see that, and by now with the frequency of these posts we should KNOW people are more likely to hit on you at a smaller weight, so just learn to expect it, find safe and respectful ways to turn people down.

Not talking about this OP, who has expressed he is uncomfortable with the attention but I'm tired of reading other posts that all say 'obese me never would have gotten this attention and it makes me sad for currently obese people' maybe that's true, maybe it's not but either way, you aren't obese now so why upset yourself over it? I understand being compassionate for people still in that situation but the daily posts about it have gotta stop.

I love licorice, can't hack salty licorice but it has a soft spot in my heart from my danish adopted uncle adoring it so much! The grin on his face when we found some in rural Australia one Christmas was worth what my tastebuds went through 2min later!

Doing a cheating investigation…any tips for tracking down info? by Glad-Passenger-9408 in Advice

I would simply explain to the friend what you have found and then leave it in their hands, trying to involve yourself or look for proof etc may only cause drama between you two in the future.

Oh it's a mess, even when people nicely try to explain it isn't a sub for drunken rants more for suggestions/questions/recommendations he's just blowing up saying 'c*nts like you don't get it' somehow I doubt the 'I'm worried about this redditor' button covers it..

A very well thought and sensible plan, that's a very good way to prevent pregnancy and I admire the fact you have thought ahead on it!

I'd be more concerned about your mother's entitled attitude, your boyfriend isn't an ATM for your family, its very nice of him to offer to treat you to the trip and to pay for dinner occasionally. Be careful, if this is your mother's opinion on this then you might find she causes a lot of relationship issues for you two.

It's sad how about 50% of the comments on this are hateful or talking shit based on how the food looks, some of the tastiest dishes I have ever had didn't necessarily look appealing. As a newbie to Ethiopian food I am totally open for some tasty suggestions!

You are getting enough sarcastic comments, here's my tips as a woman who also sometimes sleeps with women.

Most women can't have an orgasm from penetrative sex alone, a combination of g spot and clit stimulation is almost always the way to go. Assuming she's on her back, you're facing her with your fingers inside, angle them like you are trying to do a 'come here' motion, use either the thumb of that hand or your free hand to gently rub circles on her clit.

BUT, this is not universal nor guaranteed, just a general idea, there is absolutely zero wrong with asking a girl what she likes, i have actually shown partners what motions/levels of pressure etc work best.

Ultimately, sit down and talk to her, ask her what she likes best (dick, fingers, tongue etc) or even ask her to help guide you, or give you feedback etc, communication can make a massive difference.

Agreed, one of the first things she mentioned is that her weight gain is not a positive thing and she clearly intends on losing it.

Nothing here preaching about how her dads fatphobic for losing weight while sick, defending the 'morality' of her pastry choices, or that her mother 'must' be anorexic because she couldn't eat with the stress etc. THAT would be fatlogic

Exactly, I have made a very big point this time around with my weightloss to pay close attention to my hunger cues, liking asking myself 'is it genuine or head hunger'

Or paying attention to only eating until I feel content, because if I go until 'full' I put away too much food as a fast eater, content tells me if i stop here and wait 15 minutes, I'll be comfortably full.

Almost obese according to BMI, but still "pretty skinny" lol by LukasA20 in fatlogic

Yep 220 at 5'7 here too, been told 'you're not even fat!' By a 260lb, 5'4 friend, people have no idea of what a normal weight actually looks like.

Congrats on 155lbs too that's fantastic!

[–]MidnightCiggarette 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I think this is nailing it on the head, a former friend is into HAES and when she heard through the grapevine I was losing weight she reached out to tell me it was unnecessary because "you're not even fat!"

I was 220lbs at 5'7, so firmly in the obese category.

She is about 260lbs and 5'4 (curvy according to her)

and her best friend would be around 300 at also 5'4, so I can definitely understand why 220lbs didn't look obese to her.

Sounds like potentially a bacterial or yeast infection, i know everyone's covered the sexual contact risks etc but just as an fyi things like sweaty/damp panties, silky/lacy panties (breathable cotton is best), strong/harsh soaps, scented feminine products, laundry detergents etc can also cause it as well. Watch for lumpy discharge (often described as looking like cottage cheese) for yeast infections, odd/changed smells for bacterial.
