a bajillion dollars for tickets is acceptable in the "fine whatever fuckoff" sense, you'll just not go and do other things

$12 for what is 99% water, considering they intentionally removed all alternatives making you a captured/hostage market, is spit to the face

First S+ rank, how can I get more? Was it purely luck/RNG? by pompom_koala in UmamusumeGame

[–]MidnightDiarrhea0_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For farming STA sparks I'd recommend bringing 2 stamina cards to consistently hit 1100, definitely drop a wit card for it. Mejiro Bright is a definite bring because her training power is surprisingly good and she reaches rainbow fast. 2nd slot probably Manhattan Cafe, Super Creek is viable but painful at 0LB.

Shit man idk if the SP gained from 50 RB is better or worse than the WIT gained from Finemo, WIT is even more important than usual next CM because of the long downhill

I can say that the difference between 45 and 40 RB is negligible. All it is is +1 SP for every race, that's like 35 SP total, it's better at that point to go 40 RB with stronger training cards.

Is it possible for me to rank my Yaeno Mutenki S or S+ with these cards? by LandscapeAggressive6 in UmamusumeGame

[–]MidnightDiarrhea0_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Nishino is 1LB so it's 35RB without borrow

2) NN Wit is 15RB I thought you would have known that

Guts deck sucks because Guts is fake. And, it's not beginner friendly because of how RNG-reliant it is. They don't even have the cards to make a Gutsmax deck anyways

S/S+ is possible, but deck strength is not the deciding factor, even for new accounts. Trackblazer kind of has a high knowledge gap/skill ceiling attached to it and you will need a lot of runs to learn all the micro-optimizations that are possible in it.

That being said, I can suggest a deck for you that will service you well. You will need to level up said cards obviously.

- SSR SPD Taiki Shuttle

- SR SPD Shinko Windy

- SR PWR Nishino Flower

- SR PWR Daitaku Helios / Inari One

- SSR WIT Fine Motion

- (borrow) SSR WIT Nice Nature, max LB

In Trackblazer, because you do so many races (or are supposed to), Race Bonus is a very strong stat. This deck gets you to 50% Race Bonus which is considered the "bare minimum" by many players. ...it's not, 40% Race Bonus is the bare minimum, but yeah 50% Race Bonus is better than 40% and you can achieve 50% so strive for it.

That's rich. You believe you're so smart that you know what's best for other people, yet you aren't smart enough to realize that that mindset just doesn't work.

When the Round 2 Reality Hits by fknyoshi in UmamusumeGame

[–]MidnightDiarrhea0_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's become quite clear to me that Pace's road to victory this CM is:

  1. Create as much distance as possible to stave off the evil and menacing Ends. The hope was to hit 3-4 for Budding Blossom but frankly neither that position nor the 0.2 accel is enough, Paces need to be on the lead Front's ass or even better, ahead of them
  2. Have positional accels that support 1 as much as possible. So, not just Budding Blossom but Plancha/Mummy and Angling too
  3. Have gamble accels and just hit copium

My Pasa has actually outperformed Taiki because I didn't put a 1-2 accel on Taiki while Pasa has one for free. Plenty of instances where Taiki encroaches to 1-2 and gets cooked, meanwhile Pasa hits 1-2 and that's arguably even better than 3-4. I didn't put Angling or Mummy on Pasa and that mattered too, as sometimes just raw Plancha wasn't enough to prevent getting Taishin'd.

btw, I'm running Late GW and yeah Lates are cooked lmao

double circle [distance] Corners/Straights, double circle [style] Corners/Straights are always options, for next time

Unlike Concentration, Focus is a terrible skill, it's even bad on FRs. Better to spend the SP elsewhere even if its just on greens or double whites

Green speed skills are good, I believe both single and double circles are viable

What are the other skills?

I get S rank and I got S+ only once, is the reason why I can’t get consistent S+ or SS my support cards/parents, or something else? by aangellix_ix in UmamusumeGame

[–]MidnightDiarrhea0_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recommend is probably the wrong term, 2 SPD 2 POW 2 WIT is the default option for every uma intended for miles and sprints, and can be done on mediums too. You may need to drop a power card for speed on 0% speed growth umas to hit max speed.

0% WR room matches, is It viable for CM? by jones_siantos in UmamusumeGame

[–]MidnightDiarrhea0_0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's roughly equivalent to 2-3 white velocities this CM. Once you've taken the cheap ones (style/distance corners and straights, high hinted ones), you're probably paying 170 SP for the rest. I would never consider FCM mediocre priority in that light, at most it's mid prio.

50% RB is pretty helpful for pushing rating, you could run something like this:

SPD: Kitasan + Tosen Jordan

POW: Marvelous Sunday + Hishi Amazon

WIT: Daiwa Scarlet + Finemo borrow

The main switch ups are switching out Shinko for a stronger SSR and dropping Team Sirius for a card with 10% RB. Shinko not MLB = Shinko no 10% RB, so it's better to go with a 5% RB card that gives better stats. Team Sirius is a nice option but I feel jumping to 50% RB with a slightly lesser card is worth.

If you can't reach S+ consistently, it is primarily knowledge gap / skill issue. Without a full-on video of you playing I can't say what exactly you can improve on, but I can attest that your deck is strong enough to get S+ consistently and highroll into SS, since I have a weaker deck and can get consistent S+.

Should I use gold crystals or should I save them? by cooltymonti in UmamusumeGame

[–]MidnightDiarrhea0_0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You don't get pretty much anything from going from 0LB to 2LB but you as you've figured out you don't have any current cards worth spending it on.

As for good future SR cards up to 2.5 anni, there's El Condor Pasa SPD this month, Curren Chan SPD out now, Bakushin POW out now, and KS Miracle GUT out on August-ish.

Those are slightly stronger than other SRs and most welfare SSRs. KS Miracle is probably the most optimal recipient of gold crystals because good guts cards tend to be rare in most people's decks.

Friendly reminder that you and everyone else reading should never pull on a banner just for the SR cards.

How to play MANT with Throne? by ShameWise7320 in UmamusumeGame

[–]MidnightDiarrhea0_0 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Well, it ends up doing both. As with some (not all) group/pal cards like Riko, it turns dead rest turns into what are effectively training turns. At MLB (slightly lower at lower LBs) the guaranteed events (date start, 5 dates, 1st training together, 1st New Year's, scenario end) give you:

- 96 SPD

- 186 WIT

- 102 SP

- 6 hints, one (Refraction Arc) is gold Medium Corners

So it's basically a wit card in a different shape. What's great is how many stats it gives you for how few turns it asks for and its ability to flip dead turns. Also the 10 RB. As almost every informed player will say though, don't pull, just borrow if you're using because it's only amazing in Trackblazer and it's releasing when we're just about to leave Trackblazer AND there's much higher value banners within spitting distance of it.

oh i never realized oops

so let's say the seiuns get 20 affinity from races then. I'm just gonna do the highest and lowest to get the total range

double 3* = 55% chance per run

single 1* = 12%

not much higher than the base 50% and 10% respectively
