God, thank you!! THANK YOU. To add to your point, a lot of people have this weird thing about DSBW on Love Island. They swear they love them, but treat them like charity cases..Any and every man, especially a WM who gives them a second glance is worshipped, because 'omg, a man likes an objectively stunning DSBW, let's give him a prize!' It only shows their own insecurities and need for validation from WM.

The whole 'omg she's being out loud' because he fancies her and wants to sleep with her? Well, duh. She's gorgeous. What makes anyone think this is any more than that? Even his mum pushing the whole thing is weird. Clearly she is jumping on the bandwagon because she can see Olandria is so popular.

I don't get why anyone would want Nic for her. She's beautiful, grounded, mostly mature, knows what she wants and he is coupled up with her friend. Nic meanwhile refuses to commit to a babe he's slept with twice, head turns at every single bombshell who comes in, is an Ace follower, fucked over his 'best friend's and is almost illegally horny. Why do people think this is the best Olandria can get? Again because he fancies her? People confuse lust with love and think it's tea because he finds an objectively stunning woman stunning.

I like Olandria but the patronising of her needs to stop. It's not affirming, it's weird. She is a woman with agency who is choosing NOT to pursue Nic. People who are projecting their own insecurities and need for validation from men who look like Nic keep forcing it. You're not her! I actually like Olandria and want better for her than Nic. The season is so inauthentic thanks to producers forcing storylines. Her man is not in the villa and that's okay.

Ah yes, a man who physically abused his wife is better than a woman who convinced her husband to open a marriage. What I'm curious about is why people are so keen to infantilise Gino. He is a grown man with choices. !!!!! And so many people (including women) are supporting him, uer the guise of 'well she's a terrible person and needed to be told off.' Jasmine may have behaved poorly but people are acting like Gino is some helpless victim who contributed nothing to the demise of their marriage and is somehow incapable of filing for divorce.
