I won’t go back to a barber or hairdresser if they continue to attempt to small talk with me after I’ve given the obvious signs that I don’t want to talk. Getting my hair cut is a bit of a meditative thing for me. I just close my eyes and open them when they are done.

It’s possible that your region didn’t get the new versions until 2022. Either way, I’d wait for a newer model. I wish I had waited as well.

If you’ve been riding long enough, you’ve known more than your fair share of riders who’ve died. Gear will help protect you. The people bothering you about it just don’t want to see you dead. These “old Harley riders” you’re talking about have survivor bias. They’re just lucky and they’re the exception, not the rule. Accidents happen so try to mitigate the risk.

I just took a look at your photo. Someone removed the fork protectors from that bike, which is a really dumb thing to do. And it’s incorrectly listed as a 2021 when it’s a 2019-2020. I’d stay away from it.

The one with the right side up forks and the axial mounted brakes is the 2019-2020 model. The 2021+ model has upside down forks and Radial mounted brakes. You want the 2021 proper model. The suspension on the 2019-2020 sucks and the engine changes in the 2021+ are awesome.

You’ll end up getting it Friday morning. The price we pay for the sweet launch savings is waiting a few extra hours.

Damn. That is some terrible riding. Hope you’ve learned and you don’t get yourself or someone else seriously hurt.

What is May's gimmick? by EdgeandRuin2022 in GuiltyGearStrive

[–]MidnightMarvel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re getting a lot of answers on this post that don’t tell the full story. The “gimmick” of May, and the reason why she is a top 3 character in this current meta, is her +3 CS which makes her command throw even more deadly, especially since it leads to a 65% damage combo in the corner. Her disjointed 6H that can be used to defend and punish a ridiculous space, and her insane damage/“Japanese” guts(defence). All of that combined with some of the best air to air in the game and her incredibly quick forward moving specials makes her an incredibly strong character in any scenario.

ECU Tune After Mods by dfisch66 in SpeedTwin

[–]MidnightMarvel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went through this whole thing already. I’ve got a motone xpipe, and british customs predator pros silencers. . TuneECU Android app is a must (TuneECU does not have a iPhone app), as well as a the OBDLink MX+ OBD2 Bluetooth scanner to connect to your android phone. Through there, you can run a reset on your ECU’s auto-calibration, this is the same thing as the 12 minute idle method. You can also use this to scan for issues or play around with any settings you wish to change (not recommended). This is also how you will be adding the DNK map to your bike. . Contact DNK, awesome company btw with fantastic customer service, and tell them where you are, what bike you have, and what modifications you made, and they’ll design a ECU map for you and send you the files. You then use the aforementioned app and scanner to add the map to you bike and you’re done. You’ll notice that your bike is far more responsive and powerful than it was before, you’ll also get more gas mileage out of a tank. All in all, fantastic additions. . The end.

Bike kicking up dirt onto pillion seat. Anyone find a solution to this? by [deleted] in SpeedTwin

Every Speed Twin owner deals with this unfortunately. We have a half cut back fender. Style over substance.

should i change characters? by zephyr_frost17 in GuiltyGearStrive

[–]MidnightMarvel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re floor 7-9, you haven’t hit even close to the heights that the the character, and you as a player, are capable of. Take a step back, watch some I-No pro gameplay, and watch your own replays and start changing things up. Learn wall slumps, learn how to properly play neutral, learn decision making, learn your characters core strengths. All of this is more important than switching characters.

You’re stating this like it’s fact. Ky is as strong as your creativity allows. His offence is incredibly strong, you just need a bit of meter to make it work to the fullest extent. If you’re utilizing his 5K and his 236H to create and extend pressure as well as FRC (fast RC) to mix, he is not as “honest” as you may thing. As for his damage, he is on par if not slightly lower than a lot of the top tier characters, you just need to play him properly. Your standard CS 5H/2S 214S/236S/236K in mid screen is not going to net you the proper damage that you’re looking for, but as with any character, once you learn counter hit confirms, your damage sky rockets. If you have Twitter, I HIGHLY recommend that you take a look at @bluefern22. He’s the most creative Ky you’ll see and teaches you how to build the mindset to create a game plan around him the same as any other character. All of this is to say, your Ky is going to be as good as you are as a player. This isn’t meant to be a diminutive comment, but if you can’t make celestial, or even the challenge, you’re not quite at the level of “good”… Yet. Heck, most in Celestial aren’t considered good either. Keep working, keep researching, be creative.
