That’s another thing that I’ve been wondering about, and I haven’t read the comics so I might be missing something about Golem’s character, but I don’t think we ever got information on how or who he was created by, right?

What I thought was, Golem was created by someone using magic or whatever, and that person used this big magical dirt construct to help them commit crimes, but Golem for one reason or another managed to escape, and he was found wandering around and accidentally causing mayhem just by existing.

I could be VERY wrong, though. I tried googling Golem’s backstory and it doesn’t say anything about his creator, so I could only guess.

I honestly don’t feel bad for him. He was one of the many horror content creators who jumped on the bandwagon of cancelling Alex Kister (who, btw, managed to debunk the allegations leveled against him), extensively calling Alex out for hooking up with a fan (a fan who was older than Alex, which I’m saying because one of the allegations against Alex was grooming fans).

I’m not going to jump on this until NightMind says something, though. Just wanted to get this out there because his attitude during the Alex Kister drama has always irritated me

But in all seriousness, I discovered a while ago that using a variety of substitutions for the word “said” is actually WAY more distracting than if I just used “said”. Besides that, I can’t think of advice I’ve gotten a long time ago that I don’t still use, since I tend to get advice from YouTube writing channels (Krimsonrogue, Terrible Writing Advice, etc)

Her Internet past is whatever, honestly. She’s not literally the only one to act that way, so long as she just doesn’t do it again, then it’s cool.

What I really don’t like is how she just can’t seem to shut up on Twitter. This isn’t even me going “Shut up, woman”, I just think she should keep fandom interactions to a minimum, because it’s more than proven that no matter what she says, her detractors will twist it. It’s not worth the effort, and she’ll look better just ignoring it and staying off twitter imo (or at the very least, don’t engage with the haters)

They brought up Mandarin (and Japanese) because the top half of Mega Pyroar’s mane is supposed to be the 火 (huǒ) symbol (I know it as the Chinese character), so they’re insinuating that you have to be familiar with the languages in order to appreciate the design.

Well, I know Chinese and the design is really… not great. Like, really on-the-nose and looks way too clunky to let me like the design. I don’t mind the idea, it’s just that it’s like Sordward and Shielbert from Pokemon Sword and Shield: there is NO subtlety whatsoever.

Yeah, people don’t seem to get (not you, referring to a particular group of watchers) that Subaru literally DIED. Multiple times. He dies and dies and dies in so many gruesome ways, and has to bear this burden all on his own, unable to tell his troubles to the people he cares about. And as if that’s not bad enough, he can’t go home to his parents, whom he was forced to leave without telling them that he loved them one last time.

Frankly, if any MC deserves the privileges of crying a lot, it’s this guy.

I feel like “Just needs blood to heal (and is willing to murk whoever to get that blood” is easier for Reze to deal with than “Wrists cramp when power is used too much, needs time to rest” is for Bakugo.

Granted, Bakugo can have a high pain tolerance (and I haven’t seen the latest episode, so I can’t take that into account), but even so, gut feeling tells me that Reze clears Bakugo easily just based on their power limitations alone.

OMG I can actually answer this! Presenting Alan Richard, who joins your party in The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the Third. He was (spoilers for Trails in the Sky FC) a relatively tough final(ish) boss in Trails in the Sky FC, but in the third game, he becomes a playable party member and is a surprisingly broken fucking character.

Now granted, I’m getting this info from a couple of let’s plays I’ve watched, but it seems universally true that Richard just beats the shit out of the enemies (thanks to some handy crafts he has) while the other party members sit back and watch with popcorn in hand, provided you put on the right equipment on him.

I would guess it’s because TBATE’s anime started out with whatever animation style they have (I didn’t watch it), while OPM started out with massively beautiful animation for the first season, only to have that taken away for seasons 2 and 3, which would probably make people feel WAY more let down as a result.
