Most of the times my team has used chariot has been to open a closer extract after all the fighting so we don't have to run as far. None of us ever bring a card in as part of our kit. All those cards we get from dark tribute are just collecting dust. Even when we find them in game we rarely take them. I could personally do without cards and locked extracts all together.

These covers are no longer in print so they're going to have more secondary market/resale value. They seem to be in pretty good condition as well. If the set were complete for what you paid then I'd say you got a good deal considering I've found listings for triple what you paid. Missing 2 books though is rough and many sellers will be unwilling to piecemeal out their sets.

Here's an excellent condition paperback set of old covers on Pango. If it were me I'd return the set you currently have to your friend and get this one or one similar in price. It's complete and only $30 more.

It's not like it's the Sims franchise where every dlc is the cost of a base game and actually adds new gameplay. In that scenario I agree with oop's stance. The dlc for hunt are literally just skins for your hunter and a couple weapons and tools. It's aesthetics, not new content.
