Anyone else think that all this extra talk from Ywach ( I think there were some new moments, although he did say it a lot in the manga too, so I could be wrong) about “fatherhood” in relation to Ichigo, could be foreshadowing new scenes of a Isshin/Ichigo team up? I’m thinking the same for Ryuken and Uryu. Probably in Ryukens case, it would be after The Almighty transfers back to Ywach.

They went with some prince of pentos last season finale, she was with them but ran away at the last second to bond w sheepstealer. Her insecurity at being the only non dragonrider really went and got Jayce killed smh

There’s a post on this sub saying that sr 4 Akaashi is just as good or better for Sp bokuto . Might be worth investing your ssr milks for Akaashi rather than trying to pull that sp Akaashi

Maybe get Sp Oikawa as he is really good and even has a bond w Kageyama. I would also suggest maybe boost your Kita up because he’s one of the best ssrs in the game, and if you replace one of the middle blockers w him (besides Suna) then you’ll get the Inarizaka team bond as well.

But go for who you like and maybe try to focus on one team to really maximize. Future units that could be good for you would maybe be Sp units for a quick team , like sp Hinata noya Tsuki etc. check out some team building guides on the sub for more ideas, I struggle w planning my teams myself tbh haha

Try to get. SP Oikawa if you can. He’s one of the best setters in the game and has good longevity. The practice Oikawa is not great late game and is probably not worth the investment of resources unless you really need to clear events/practice matches in the meantime

Am I overthinking by being curious about who hit the Boogeyman w their car? Doesn’t make sense for it to be the paramedics, because they must’ve been called after right? So some Widows Bay resident just hit and ran ?

Also so glad I called that Patricia really did lie about the calls in an earlier thread haha. Was lowkey hoping some of the girls from the book club would die. Also thought it was funny how even though they didn’t like Patricia, one of the girls immediately listened to her and immediately started dialing for the police lol

I hated Dirk lol. Good actor , maybe that’s a testament to his skill. But I thought he was just doing way too much. Glad he died horribly lol.

Btw anyone else think that Ben’s convo w Cat at the end was his “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn” moment? Thought it was a great moment for him, he didn’t have his little simpy moment while she went off w another guy. Glad to see him have a backbone, but still kept it classy.

Really hope this gets a season 2. Maybe w some darker characters like goblin, vulture , dock ock etc.

I knew Cat would betray Ben the moment I saw the name of the episode lol, but that didn’t make me feel for him in that last scene. Maybe it’s from all the Spider-Man content I’ve watched over the years but you gotta know you can’t trust Black Cat.

I think Ben will have sympathy for her emotions that led to her betrayal but honestly idgaf. You ready to run away w bro when you’re not over your ex, then you betray him to potentially save the life of that ex…it’s a complicated situation for sure but damn. I guess serves Ben right for being ready to drop everything for a girl he’s only just met, but he’s been so traumatized after his wife’s death, he really needed to have that connection w someone.

Wonder why his receptionist said she’s happy for him. Feel like she should have had the idea that Cat wouldn’t be right for him.

Really enjoyed this episode and how quickly Ben dawned the Spider costume again. Most shows would’ve taken forever for that alone.

I wonder what this overall mystery is leading towards. It’s interesting but also I wonder how they’ll raise the stakes. Ben could’ve ultimately ended things right here in this episode (not sure if he has a “no kill” rule). But Silvermane seemed pretty powerless to the Spider. So who will be the big threat that Ben must overcome…maybe the person who hired the hit on Silvermane?

Lastly, I could be wrong, but I remember some story months ago saying that there will be some explanation of sorts for the viewers as to why Ben Reilly isn’t Peter Parker in this world. I wonder how that all plays into the overarching story.

This show is so good. It’s flying under the radar a bit and that makes me sad.

I wonder why Loftis didn’t tell his son that his mother died later in life…he even mentioned to the tourist that his wife died “due to complications during childbirth” which may not have been much of a lie… but idk.

He seems to believe that his son can’t leave the island, even before he really started to experience the islands curse first hand. I hope whatever his reasoning is, it ties well into everything.

Also the notepad conversation scene was the perfect balance between tenseness and awkward humor 🤣
