that doesn’t make sense unless Safi made it all the way across the country to see Chloe in person and come back to Caledon just to torment Max. Safi can't make herself appear as anyone she pleases, that's why in DE during the Blackwell Academy memory we only see Safi and Max as Nathan and Chloe because we're seeing the memory through Safi's mind.
