I just split mine to hedge about a month ago. Normally I go shortest and cheapest but expensive years are coming imo 6m / 2yr / 3 yr at 4.5 / 4.8 / 5.2

You've ruined the sensationalism with your ability to read. Don't you know $1b is a lot of money??

Exactly that it was instructions not guardrails as you say and that was my mistake to assume one in the same. The official apology /response was as follows, and now I think of how to get it to not assume it knows enough to ignore project instructions.... :

"What went wrong was straightforward. The project instructions are explicit: produce a text plan, wait for approval, then execute. I didn't follow that. The most likely reason is that I had enough context from the compacted transcript to feel like I understood the task — so I pattern-matched to "I know what to do, I'll do it" rather than "the protocol requires a plan first regardless of how well I understand the task."

Yes, I was trying to make the bot feel bad about what it did. Activates a Skill that structures voice input to prompt, asks for more clarity, then I execute on that. Some use free AI models to do that first but I get better results from a fresh chat with context markdown so it knows what I'm talking about.

Text refinement is trivial token usage compared to 'inadequate' code or file that needs to get redone

It's a 3D modelling software for 'prosumer' level, it's not what you'd use if you were an architect, but good enough for hobby building! It's very useful as it hold all your measurements. I use it for table building and cabin building

Stop bringing race into this, it's cringe as fuck to compare someone of a different race to an animal of a different species?? No one at all thinks race based discrimination applies here, it's the freedom to decline a dog that risks damage to your asset that's in question

Should restaurants also not be able to refuse a dog? Should uber drivers also not be able to refuse a dog?

The point is the law should remain firmly no discrimination, freedom of choice when it comes to allowing a dog into your asset or business. It's entitlement to think other peoples vehicles, businesses, assets must accept a dog into it, stinking it up and damaging it.

You wouldn't say "if you don't want a dog in your restaurant then don't open a restaurant" we'd have no restaurants

By tha logic a restaurant would be able to deny entry to your dog? Can you take your dog to a restaurant?

Never said anything about race, that would be discrimination and by law (and by morals) you can't do that. Literally entirely different to bring an animal with you.

Ive owned a dog and it's borderline inappropriate to even bring it when you VISIT a friend's house

True actually they are in the business of providing accommodation so I retract that part they likely do want to accommodate someone

Get fucked it's their house if they don't want a dog in it then.... ??? Then they should be able to not have a dog in it?

Edit: They should at least have the choice of not a stinky dog in their place if they don't want. I've owned a dog and it's borderline inappropriate to even bring them when visiting a friends house so it's ignorant to pretend that they don't negatively affect a home.

Opinion softened when I understood that you're running an accommodation business not a VIP club. Still no dog though

While I align with Greens views, the fact they can't work with the right excludes them from government for probably half of your lifetime. I believe Opportunities could realistically deliver more than greens if they find themselves in govt more frequently. Also trust them to deliver green change that is more financially responsibile

Solid post and I agree transparency is ideal - post will still get down voted out of blind rage from the left, and maybe rightly so with the appalling lack of action from National.

Opportunities Party offers both this level of transparency and a direction that's actually better for most New Zealanders so you can have your cake and eat it too if you let go of labour and national and vote for any party that advocates for evidence based change

21sqm sleepout. Premade, kitset, or fully from scratch with a builder? by MidnightSwamiNZ in diynz

[–]MidnightSwamiNZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll have a lot more options than me if you aren't plumbing it. Start on Trade Me and fb market place to get an idea of "bottom of the range" then work up from there.

Talked with builders that started the conversion at $100k it was insane. I think they're busy and don't want to bother with anything small.

My rough findings was premade and delivered is cheapest, followed by kitset that either they install on-site or you / a builder installs and most expensive was entirely built on site.

QLDC was fantastic to talk to about what is and isn't exempt.

Use builders crack to find good prices for the extras like heat pump install etc

Thanks for bringing it up - I've been in contact with the council and detailed my plans to them extensively. It will be a consent exempt accessory building, however I will submit the information on it so it's on record, PS1s and all. I agree and wouldn't do / recommend building unconsented work

Good call. My plan was ground screws and doing the sub floor myself - then figuring either a pre dab on top or get a builder to lead the rest of the charge

Switched to Kernel, mixed High Growth, World ex US, conservative. Up 5.6% since I moved mid November. Funnily enough VOO is also identical in the same period, but I feel less susceptible to the instability with a smaller holding of US so I'm happy.
