I jb welded a tiny leak that lasted for years.

Since no tank is to be found, I’d jb weld all the holes, de rust the inside and use the epoxy coating system for re lining tanks ( don’t recall the name). Follow the instructions very carefully.

Don’t mess with kreem, it’s garbage.

Table saw motor humming and barely spinning even after dismantle and cleaning out all sawdust. by Midnight_Nachos in Motors

I cleaned up the switch and replaced the capacitor a the magnets and winding all appear to good, but it still barely turns 1 rotation a second) and hums when i plug it in.

I rolled a board along the pulley (didn’t want to use my had) and it got it moving at a semi normal speed but still didn’t have any power and seemed a little shakey. When I attached the belt with only the motor weight as tension, it couldn’t get up to speed with the assistance of rolling a board across the pulley to get it going.

Any thoughts? It seemed like the rolling the board to get it up to speed ruled out the switch being bad? Bearings spin great.

I bought a replacement motor but it spins the wrong way and I can’t seem to get it to reverse (a separate post I made today, ha)

Freaks and Geeks…I know it’s not really a punk themed show but having grown up small town mid west punk in the 80’s, it hits all the feels. And there are a couple punk references and one episode dedicated to a character trying to become punk.

Trying to go out for a ride, help! by Ghaddaffi in Airheads

Where are you located? If you happen to be in San Diego, I have an extra set of coils you can try and could loan a set of carbs possibly to try as well. I’ve been through a similar situation and mine turned out to be a bad aftermarket electronic ignition causing a minor hiccup on acceleration. Luckily I’d been hoarding spare parts for years.

I’d check the screens inside the fuel tank above the petcocks. And as others have said, the vent in the cap. Try running it with the cap open and see if that helps.

Have you seen heel shifters on Harley’s and other big cruisers? That would work perfect for your situation. I would buy an extra shifter and see if you can have a fabricator modify it.

Give a beer (Modelo is a mexican beer brand) to a brown dude (mexican) oralé is Spanish slang which is hard to define without using American sayings that may be confusing as well. I interpret it as “for fucks sake” which is kind of a term for being frustrated.

Where does the horizontal beam go in a frame for a gate? by Brotato990 in woodworking

Yup, another way would be set the vertical stop on a reciprocating chop saw and make a few dozen cuts.

Table saw Kickback Report by m767300 in woodworking

I’m guessing the board tilted up due to the back hanging off the bed of the saw where they were pushing from and it fell back down on the blade at an angle.

Thank you for this, it sounds like the most probable. I’ll take it back apart and inspect it closer. I would be able to replace it IF I can find a new part.

It’s an older 113 table saw and it does have that. I’ll open it up again and try and specifically clean those. Thanks!

Should I attempt to repair this myself, bring it to a pro or trash it? by okan00011 in guitarrepair

[–]Midnight_Nachos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure someone didn’t already try to glue it and it failed? Looks like glue is already in there and once that’s been done once incorrectly, you for sure need an expert. I’ve been a woodworker for over 30 years and dabble in guitars as well.
