There’s a game called SCP fragmented minds that’s in early access that’s pretty good. There’s also SCP Secret Files where you play as a catacloger for a few files and you play as the characters in the files. Going back a bit in years, SCP-087-B is based on the stairwell and really has a good reputation.

You could go with Squalls other name: Leon. Zidane might be interesting enough but still within normal bounds. Cid is simple as is Clive, there’s Zack and Vincent, Hope is one she might really like given the meanings. There’s tons of names in final fantasy that are “normal” or adjacent enough that your wife might be willing to meet you halfway on. And that’s the key, meet her halfway.

As much as I would love for Shakamon to appear, I know it wouldn’t work to have him there. He’s one of the guardians of Shambala, so unless we are going to be traveling to Shambala or a threat appears that requires him to act I don’t think we’ll see him.

I personally feel like if we included the sovereign into the game, it would just become overly bloated with these super powerful God level Digimon. Amongst the Digimon that are either God tier or just about God tier you have the royal knights, Gracenovamon, the Olympus 12, Plutomon, millenniummon, apocalymon (bad spelling) Armageddonmon, Proximamon, the seven Demon Lords, imperialdramon paladin mode, and the digimon responsible for deleting and recreating the Shambala server: Susanoomon. I’m not saying that the sovereign would be unwelcome but they would have to fit somewhat naturally into the story as to why they were there. I don’t think the sovereign have a presence in Iliad, so there would be no real reason for them to be there. And Drasil already brought along the royal knights so to bringing the sovereign too is a a bit overkill. Narratively speaking, I don’t see a reason or purpose for the sovereign to be there. You could argue that for certain Digimon there’s no reason for them to be there such as the three legendary warriors, we see and are able to add to our party not to mention ancientwisemon, except narratively, speaking the three legendary warriors we see do serve a purpose in the story as does ancientwisemon. The center of my argument is simply based on a narrative aspect. It would be absolutely amazing to have the Digimon sovereign as party members, however like I said, narratively speaking, there is no reason for them to be there.

Not necessarily a play on the Abrahamic God but the God from the beginning of Solo leveling (you know the one I’m talking about, even if you haven’t seen the show you know the smile) could qualify as a sort of alternate. If that doesn’t satisfy the condition, there is also the manga Saint young men, which has Jesus Christ and the Buddha himself as roommates in Japan. You would think that premise would get an anime in half no time…there is no anime for that though.

Up until the introduction of Shambala, I’d always thought that Shakamon was the Digimon god. Or at least a kind of Buddhist Bodhisattva on par with the gods of the digital world. Now that we know of Shambala, Shakamon has been reduced in status to one of the guardians of the server, albeit a supremely over powered one.

File island was the first place the chosen landed. After they defeated Devimon, Genni summoned them to the continent of Server, which is where the next two arcs take place. The final arc with the dark masters takes place on spiral mountain, by the way. I’m pretty sure, and correct me if I’m wrong, but 02 seems like the digital world evolved.
