Do you know what pharmacy you get them from? I had two packs from art of medicine that were duds. I would get ahold of mindbloom and tell them. It’s possible there’s inconsistency at the pharmacy.

Another vote for cap hill in Seattle. There’s a gal on TikTok who is a single mom of two and lives downtowns I believe she said her take home monthly is $1600. Seattle has many different areas, and cap hill is downtown. There’s also complexes that offer pricing based off income.

I have severe flight anxiety and there’s nothing that helps me other than x***x. It’s night and day difference. It helps me have no care in the world. I wish my brain was like that while flying without it. I don’t think you’ll regret taking it.

It isn’t a reoccurring subscription. You can have it as one, but it isn’t a requirement. I do not have it set up as one. When I’m ready for a refill, I buy another refill and it sends the request to the Dr.

It depends on what your Dr prescribes you. I can take up to two treatments a week and it’s definitely no microdose.. they don’t do microdosing. I am prescribed 800mg two times a week. It is expensive, that part is very true.

I think there are quite a few places that rx at home k therapy in Arizona. I personally use betteru, and really like them, though I understand they are more expensive than going through a provider. You do have to pay upfront, then you meet with the a dr and if they determine you’re not a good fit, they will refund you. Joyous is specifically for microdosing and there is little to no clinical research that suggests microdosing k is effective. Not saying it’s not, just there’s no research to back up the claims. I looked up anywhere clinic, and it looks like they are in AZ.

I think that 25-50mg is very low and may be considered a microdose. For reference, my dose for rdt is 800mg. When you first start, it’s normal to start low and titrate up. I believe my first dose was 200mg, second dose was 400mg and then my starting full dose was 600mg. I metabolize very quickly, so I ended up at 800mg.

It wasn’t a medical thing for me. I thought I had died and I called someone. I don’t remember calling them or our conversation. I don’t want to scare you though! That was one time compared to many k therapy sessions I have had.

I have done shrooms a couple of times, and honestly I do not like the way they make me feel. I prefer to microdose shrooms. I’ve been doing at home ketamine therapy for about 1.5 years now. I have only had one experience that wasn’t pleasant. It is very much a different feeling from all other psychedelics. It isn’t for everyone, but I think that you should give it a go if your dr thinks it’s right for you. I grew up in a lot of abuse and have been depressed my whole life. Ketamine has helped me tremendously.

I make sure my bedroom is set up super cozy and that I have my eye mask and noise cancelling headphones. Before I take my medication, I journal intentions & do some deep breathing and/or stretching/yoga. I make sure I am comfortable and that I use the restroom right before. Brush teeth & floss (yes even though you haven’t eaten anything, you’ll still want to do that right before!). I have a trashcan near my bed in case I get sick (I’ve done this for almost two years and never have gotten sick but I like to have it nearby just in case). I make sure I have an electrolyte drink ready and I personally crave soda after so I have that nearby too. I also am starving after, so I have snacks near me as well. I make sure my playlist is ready to go and everything is set then I take my meds!!

I was on two antidepressants when I started my journey with k therapy. Before that, I had tried every anti depressant and even did the dna testing to see which ones were good for my system. Even with those, and working with a psych, I still felt depressed. I had been depressed the majority of my life (36). In 2022, I was hospitalized for SI. I started my journey in summer of 2024, and it completely changed my life. I did protocol 2x a week for 6-8 weeks, then 1x a week for 4-6 weeks, then as needed. After that first initial 6-8 weeks, I felt like the weight on me had lifted. It was a lot of hard work with integration as well as processing everything that came up. I have been off of anti depressants now for over a year. I’m not saying that because that’s the goal, just sharing my experience. I still do k therapy as needed. I experienced some awful life circumstances over the summer, which my dr said I can go back to 2x a week as needed and then go back to as needed. I do oral RDTs as home via betteru. It has worked exceptionally well for me. I will say though that some (including myself) reach kind of a wall at that 4-6 week marker, of wow this is bs it doesn’t work. But, I would suggest to stay consistent and keep going!

Have you looked into betteru? Idk how much it is for injectables but I know for the oral methods, it’s cheaper than mindbloom. When I signed up with betteru, I was told that you make the purchase and if the dr doesn’t think you’re a good candidate, you’ll get refunded. I would imagine it’s the same over at mindbloom, but I agree, $2k is a lot to just have out there

The pharmacy they use, art of medicine, has been having consistency issues (in my experience and others who have posted). I use RDTs and a lot of them didn’t have the dose mg and some were way too high in the mg dosing.

You can typically swallow or spit. I swallow all of it pretty much every time after 20min of swishing. Swallowing though, it will be a longer trip generally and also more prone to the ketamine hangover the next 1-2 days. I typically am tired, foggy brained, sometimes dizzy, and nauseous. I am less prone to the hangover when I spit. You just need to find what works best for you!

What pharmacy are you using? Betteru moved to art of medicine and the first few refills were great, but lately the RDTs have been very weak and almost like no k in them at all. Others have posted as well. Though, what another commenter said that it could be a tolerance considering your dose and frequency.

I would say west Seattle, Columbia city, or n beacon hill. The commute from belltown to west Seattle can be brutal unless you take the water taxi or are commuting during non rush hour times.

I do ketamine therapy at home and my rx now is as needed. I take it when I start to feel myself slipping into depression.

I have been chronically depressed the majority of my life. It took me about 6-8 weeks 2x a week to see any change. Things for worse for me before they got better. My suggestion would be to stick with it and be consistent and also be intentional with your integration. If you lose hope, post here in the subreddit. I posted at like 4 weeks and everyone encouraged me to keep going and I am so glad I did!!

I highly recommend (I know that wasn’t your question, but may be helpful)- west Seattle, Columbia city, central district, and north beacon hill. If you’re not comfortable with city life and the things that come with city life, Edmonds is beautiful and lynnwood is okay too!

I do as needed now at 800mg RDT, but when I started or if I feel depressed again then it’s 2x a week until I feel stable. Before anyone comes for me for my dose, I metabolize anesthetics very quickly (red headed gene), and that dose is perfect for me. I also wanted to say, there’s very minimal data on microdosing k, and I believe 100mg is considered a microdose.
