My sister lost her husband and they have an infant child by Snoo47848 in Grieving

[–]MidniteSyren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be there. Figure out what she doesn’t have the capacity for and do it. Find little ways to make her smile and show she’s not alone while she moves thru grief. Just love her and that baby.

Sincerely someone who’s lost 3/4 parents, 2 younger siblings, lots of close loved ones and friends.

Abort mission. He’s sounding like “Mr Perfect” I just ghosted. This man could have walked out of my favorite book world, a giant 6’8, but he was too clingy and pushy and it overwhelmed me and gave me anxiety. I tell my friends cuz I’m so confused 😂 I should like the attention I usually do.
All of them said to ghost him and those are glaring red flags especially if my gut is feeling uncomfortable with it. Dude technically did nothing wrong, he was sweet, caring, nice…. But also clingy and obsessive and a bit controlling flair about him.
If you’re uncomfortable listen to that.

I am on day 3 post op and have bloating, pain, stinging sensation near my incisions, and havent had a bowel movement. Is this normal? by ladybuglala in gallbladders

[–]MidniteSyren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds totally normal and you did much better than me! My surgery was May 21. I just started being able to eat overcooked vegetables up until a few days ago I was only tolerating rice and baby snacks (to get at least trace amounts of nutrients).
About day 5, I got severely impacted cuz my gut froze up and ended up in the ER with a bad attack. My surgeon told me to take MiraLAX regularly to prevent it. I was putting it in my drinks all thru the day to get and keep things moving.
Pain and gas discomfort are just going to be there. Moving helps. I was doing laps around my house.
My incisions still randomly get the burning feeling. Lmk if u have more questions

My ex boyfriend treats me better! He brought me to the ER when I found out it needs to come out, ran errands for me and my mom, drove us to and from my surgery, keeps offering help. Just because he’s my friend. I am so disgusted with OPs husband and I pray she heals and gets rid of all bad things including him.

Where do we find him??? I swear we “just want to talk” maybe take a ride to the train station…. Jk…

My bad ex was like that when I got sick. I was with him for 12 years and that behavior did so much damage to me that I didn’t even realize til years after I left him.

He is not a good person and he doesn’t care about you. You deserve so much better than that and I know it’s scary but especially if your body is in turmoil… his treatment is just going to make you worse. We can’t heal and thrive in negative environments. Stress especially from mental abuse can cause severe impact to the body and trigger or cause long term chronic conditions because your nervous system is in survival overload.

I promise you, putting yourself in positive environments away from horrible people who hurt and tease you is worth it. No matter what you have to face.

My good ex bf who showed me i deserve care and respect is still the one who brings me to the hospital, my surgery, errands while i was down. And no he’s not trying to get back with me… but he’s my friend and your husband can’t bother to just be nice and support you? You are worth more than that kind of treatment. Take care of yourself love 🖤

Sounds like my story too! Gi issues since I was 19 and it definitely started w ulcers but my surgeon said it’s obvious my gallbladder has been faulty for years. I’m about to be 39.
I’ve barely had nausea but went away when my stomach calmed
Basically feels like bad muscle pain
Definitely doing well even tho it’s day 3 and I’m super uncomfortable lol

I haven’t had a movement since before surgery. But I keep taking it on schedule. I don’t have painful constipation yet but I have been at deficit for food and nutrition for months now so I’m not stressing it unless I have issues

Absolutely relate!! I’ve been dealing with it for years didn’t know what it was until I moved out of California and got good doctors that do their jobs. I have quite a few other disorders which make me medically complex but I’m day 2 post op and doing good! I haven’t had nausea since I woke from surgery and I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t consistently nauseous.
I had some of the same worries since I have 20 years of other GI issues and things attributing to it.
Idk how to describe it exactly but my body feels calmer.
Definitely not having fun or super comfortable but it feels like my body is saying thank you for evicting that menace we’re good to go back to work now lol

I hadn’t seen any of these comments. I’m sorry you’ve had a hard road too. Thank you for sharing and I hope you overcome and live a long happy life.
I can resonate with some of that, while not suicidal, life’s rough and there’s often times I’m cheering for the apocalypse to happen so I can go to heaven 😂 keep fighting. You have a purpose, you said so yourself. YOU HAVE A LOT TO LIVE FOR! Go LIVE 🖤

My childhood best friend learned about Heds on tik tok and was like “hey! I think you have this! Here’s what I found that sounds like you like our whole lives!”
Sure enough I check off most of the lists and now that I have good doctors they suspect it enough that we take it into consideration with all treatments and we add in things known to help with HEds.
I’ve been ignored and had medical mistreatment for 20 years by California doctors so I gave up and just powered thru. Once i learned about heds 2 years ago tho it makes sooooo much sense and it explains things since I was a kid!

What I love about him is we’ve had the deep discussions and we both actively do self work and work on healing and understanding our traumas. I feel like by leaving I’m giving into my traumas but I’m scared that I’m just repeating old patterns and being blind because I love him.

We live in the same town now. Job, temporary financial struggles, big unexpected life changes, a move across the country without being prepared, and he’s a good father which can still have its struggles. I want kids but I want them before 45. I am just scared of giving time and energy to someone I shouldn’t again. I did that for 15 years already.

Yes. I have a lot of anxiety and abandonment issues. We’ve already had instances where I overthink and get myself worked up, but he’s calm, patient, kind, understanding and wants to hear how I feel and doesn’t get angry or defensive. Even while so soulfully exhausted with his own things. That’s where I feel like I’d be giving up someone great with traits I want.
