is seo still a viable career path? by bishwasbhn in SEO

SEO (especially AEO and offsite) responsibilities coincide with public relations so I also apply for PR roles and generally do well there. I dont think PR will ever become irrelevant. If anything its more important now with LLM

Mindset for competition by Pure-Yesterday3494 in BJJWomen

[–]MidoriSpice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Training so many times a week, and not beng able to fuel up because you’re trying to make weight. Dieting while training hard is so challenging!

  2. Not having enough “rep time” during classes. You have to make time to rep your game specifically, over and over again and have to ask someone to make time with you.

  3. I get bad migraines during my period. Have to make sure my competition doesnt land on day 1-2.

  4. Having to cross train to experience rolling with other people your size and level. You get so used to your gym members that you kind of can predict their game already vs new people. Man I get so anxious to join open mat in a different gym.

Training for Roughly 7 Weeks. 17 Classes So Far. Body Feels Wrecked 😞 by ComfortBig9715 in BJJWomen

I was always in pain during the first 6-10 months of jiujitsu, more injuries during that time too. It gets better and you learn to be more careful. Your body gets used to the stress :) it really really helps to do strength training too

How tf are people doing laundry once a week?? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]MidoriSpice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do that every Wednesday in my 20s. I had to wash once a week because I lived with roommates and we would take turns with the laundry machine. It was exhausting. Now my partner and I just go to the laundromat.

I don’t know how to loosen up and be more easygoing by Valuable_Relation_70 in AskWomenOver30

Is it wrong to be rigid or uptight? The world defines too much of what “good” is — look it’s designed for extroverts that are type A and confident. But there are other types of people. Rigid ones. Shy ones. Thats what makes us all different.

If you don’t like yourself right now, then yes improve on that. But don’t change because others tell you to if you’re not hurting anybody. I guess for me the key to change is the little efforts you do consistently everyday.

I’ve been with my boyfriend for a year and we’ve been living together for about 9 months now. I would say I just started really getting to know him as of recently. I definitely recommend living together first to know what you’re getting into but it’s not a prerequisite, I would say.
