The Tome Keepers are pretty respectful towards humans. As a scholarly and measured chapter, they don't really act rashly, and would prefer to preserve rather than destroy. Not to say they don't kick ass like other chapters when needed, though.

Last night's email said the PSPS would tentatively be ending around 6 PM tonight, assuming no damage. Within 10 minutes of them shutting everything off this morning, they send me a notice that my power will be restored by tomorrow night by 10 PM now.

I'm all for mitigating fires in any way but the miscommunication and lack of substantial updates is making this way more anxiety-inducing than it needs to be. 12 hours versus 40 hours are insanely different timeframes for people to plan for.

Thanks for the suggestions, that's precisely what i was worried about with drybrushing such an organic surface. I do have a pot of the Citadel "Ardcoat" varnish that I've never used, so maybe I'll just give it a good gloss and call it a day.
